access to major tourist attractions is good with most within easy walking distance. The hotel is close to the red light district and it's easy to stray into rather less salubrious streets if you're not careful. I felt happy as a middle aged woman walking along well lit streets on my own and my children made their way back from the main night life spots without any bother. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the breakfast simple but adequate. We had a B+B inclusive rate and with teenage boys who ate lots it was good value; it would have been an expensive breakfast had that not been the case. Our rooms were at the front of the building and so bit noisy at night. All in all good value for what we paid. The taxi from the air port was 30 euros and there were lots of them so don't waste money prebooking

The hotel is located directly at "Rambla Raval", a nice rambla in the Raval, where different cultures meet and Barcelona shows more than the mainstream flavour. 5 minutes walk to Underground station Liceu on the main Rambla, all places can be reached quickly. Clean rooms with sufficient space, good breakfast. Very good value for money! Have already booked twice for a yearly trip to Barcelona with friends and will come back!

Pros: The hotel is very central,for buses and metro, plus walking to the la rambla, gothic area, and marina.
Cons: The area is busy,with a large mixed community. the square it overlooks can be noisy. request a room on the back if possible as there is an all night internet building on the corner with the hotel which is used all night making s good nights sleep sometimes difficult.

Pros: Very friendly, helpful staff.pleasant clean rooms and a great location. we also stayed here the following week for 2 nights when we returned from our cruise
Cons: No tea/coffee making facilities in the room that would be the only negative comment we had to make.

Pros: This was our second stay at abba rambla, both times found room and general premises to be spotlessly clean and well-maintained. very good location, on rambla de raval, only about 5 minute walk to main rambla. check-in was very easy, desk clerks friendly and efficient, will definitely stay again if in barcelona.
Cons: Only negative is that a/c was apparently turned off centrally, we had to open the large room window at night for about an hour to cool room off. nothing else was a problem.

Pros: The receptionists all spoke good english and were very helpful. the room was clean and had everything we could need.
Cons: The location wasn't good. we were attacked on the way back to the hotel on our first night and my gold chain was torn from my neck - a very scary and upsetting experience.

Pros: We found that for value for money this hotel was perfect. room was a good size, very quiet, room was always tidied. great location we walked everywhere never got a taxi.

Pros: Very kind staff, proximity to rambla (5-7 min on foot), cleanness of the room
