Pros: The staff was very helpful. we arrived early and they allowed us to check in. the location was excellent - close to both the metro and train stations, and the tourist bus lines.
Cons: The hotel was a little older looking than on the website, but still very clean.

Pros: The receptionist when i arrived was lovely. she was also there an hour or so later when i needed to use the printer for my train tickets and let me use the one behind reception :)
also, free bottle of water in the room was a really nice touch, i arrived late, and didn't have any change if i'd needed to buy one from a vending machine!

Pros: The hotel staff were really helpful, room was a good size
Cons: I would not rate this as a 4* hotel by any means. i have stayed in other 4* hotels in barcelona at a much higher standard with better services, bar, restaurant, room service etc

Pros: Good location for our needs.
Cons: The restriction on being able to take a whole piece of fruit from the buffet room after paying for the buffet seems unnecessary.

Pros: Staff were friendly and knew the city so could help us.
Cons: This is a 4 star hotel but definitely should not be. the paint is peeling and generally does not feel clean. the bathroom is more like a 2 star one. very expensive for what you get - not likely to ever stay their again.

Pros: The staffs were so friendly.
Cons: The internet connection. buying a coupon for 9 euros and that lasted only for an hour from the first connection. in all the 4 star hotels i've stayed, the internet conncetion is either free or i could buy it for 10 euros for a day.

Cons: I sent 3 e-mails to the hotel over a period of 5 days without getting an answer. since i planned to arrive very late at night, i just asked them to confirm that the reception was open at my arrival. i consider the lack of response rude and a reason not to visit again.
