The Acevi Villaroel Barcelona is located in an attractive area; the smart Eixample district of Barcelona, it is within five blocks of the many boutiques, shops, restaurants bars and attractions which Barcelona has to offer.
Only two blocks from the hotel is the nearest metro station, Urgell and nearby (only seven blocks away) you will also find Passeig de Gracia, with its famous Gaudí-designed streetlamps, paving and architecture. This is one of the most famous and popular areas of the city of Barcelona. The Eixample grew many years ago to adjust to the popular city’s new size and has remained a popular visitor’s place even today.
How to reach the Acevi Villarroel?1) By shuttle, from Barcelona Airport: From any of the airport terminals take the Aerobus shuttle service to ‘Plaça d'Espanya’. From there take the red metro line L1 towards ‘Catalunya’ metro station and get off at metro stop ‘Urgell’. The hotel is at walking distance from the metro station.

It was central rooms were clean and unusually laid out but very nice, the bathroom facilities were spacious and clean.the traffic noises were barely audible from the room.
breakfast was not included in the rate however a very nice buffet breakfast was available for 10.0 for adukts and 5.00 for children which i thought was very good.The receptionist was a bit abrupt but efficient.O\'Sullivan

This hotel was easy to get to staff very helpful and the rooms were beautifully clean and well maintained we stayed for 7 nights and we were allowed to keep a room till 7pm for a charge it was worth it.There was no bar to have a drink after a day touring the cityMayne

It was a very nice modern hotel and one of few hotels we found that had an available triple room (actually 2 rooms with connecting door) that worked out for us quite nicely. the floors were done in colorful wood (cedar?) and the bathrooms in beautiful greenish marble. hotel was convenient (2 block walk) to the l1 subway stop which was a great means to travel around barcelona. The front desk staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. one of our party had her shoulder bag stolen by a passing motorcyclist and the duty receptionist provided expert help and advice giving the impression that he would do anything he could to assist. we also had to cancel a restaurant booking which another receptionist saw to on our behalf expressing our regret over the cancellation which was due to illness.
