Pros: Initially a little hard to spot due to the facade but the staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. i was staying with a friend so we were swapped from a room with double bed to two singles - very considerate. the hotel is in close proximity to la rambla however the street is quiet so you won't be disturbed late at night. breakfast comprised an excellent and varied choice from the buffet..enough to keep you going until evening meal. thank you all at acta mimic!
Cons: The facade makes the hotel a little difficult to find initially. the dark decor of the hallways might be problematic for someone with sight difficulties and the room toilets could use handles on the inside of the doors.

Pros: Very friendly welcome from two staff at reception who were also very helpful. the rooms were really nice, the waterfall shower was so good you could have stayed in there for hours.
Cons: The restaurant was still not open and food around the area was not so good.

Cons: From outside hotel looks like a council swimming pool. room facilities are poor e.g. lack of wardrobe, no english-language tv progs (e.g.cnn). not impressed with toilet in cupboard in room with no handle on door!

Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful.
rooms small but exceptionally clean.

Cons: Resteraunt not completed.courtyard not completed.not keen on shower area which appeared open to the street i.e glass wall in shower area-was able to watch people going by when showering.
