This is the centre of the 'Modernist Route' and the hotel is in the same block of one of Gaudi's master pieces, La Pedrera. In the middle of the Eixample Art Nouveau district, this district is also the best business and shopping area in the city.
How to reach the Actual Hotel?From Barcelona El Prat International Airport: Take the line 10 train (Aeroport-Barcelona-Estació de França) at the RENFE train station, and after a three stop ride, get off at the Sants stop. Once there, take the L3 underground to Diagonal. The hotel is located within walking distance (100 meters/328 feet) from the hotel.

Perfect location in the best street of barcelona.
very nice rooms very clean with a safe box and a tv.
the staff was friendly - they knew english - and can give anyone good suggestions about where to eat.
We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel because it was expensive (12 euros per night per person = 12x2x6=144 euros for 6 nights for 2 persons).Anonymous

The staff was really friendly. we thought the hotel gave out a cosy feeling, especially the cafeteria and lounge. overall a great hotel!The extra bed in our truiple room gave us back-aches. there should be more to choose from at breakfast. Theilade

The location is very convenient, especially if you are arriving from the airport or travelling to girona, and want to see the most beautiful district of barcelona, it is no way at all from gaudi's most wonderful buildings. the modern design is lovely. and there is very good free wwi-fi access. The hotel is in a beautiful and safe neighborhood right around the corner from casa mila and close to a few metro stops. the room looked exactly as pictured in the website (but much smaller!) and the staff were very helpful. the bathroom had a bathtub which was great for a soak at the end of a long day. there's free wireless and if you didn't bring a laptop, there's a computer with internet in the lobby for guest use. also a very handy in-room safe. my room had a view of casa mila's rooftop!The room was one of the 5 very small doubles right by the elevator. it was perfect for one person, but would make for very cramped quarters for a couple. the photos on the hotel website only show the much larger rooms down the hallway and the special suite on the top floor.levavi

The hotel was really nice, rooms a nice size and nicely decorated and bathroom had a great shower. the room was cleaned daily. the staff were very friendly. you could use the computer with internet access for free in the lobby.The air conditioning didn't work so we had to sleep with the window open. you only get cnn, bbc world news and a music channel in english.Halliday
