It's close to many brand name stores. However, I wonder if it is the best location for short-period travellers coz shops and restaurants around close pretty earlier - 10ish. So at the night time, the streets are pretty quiet, but you can always take taxi to go other places, the bill is not more than 10EU.

Pros: The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, it had a fan so it wasn't too hot, the shower was okay, bathroom had a mirror etc. you get what you pay for, and this is a perfect hotel if you don't blame on spending a lot of time in the room. it's only a 10 minute walk to las ramblas, so it's central without being too busy.
Cons: The bathroom didn't have a window/fan so it did get a bit stuffy in there, but for the price it was fine.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. conveniently located. 10 minutes walk from plaza catalunya and other landmarks. good value for money.
