We had a breakdown with our rental car and the receptionist on duty (victoria -from belgium) was extremely helpful in resolving our problem and ensuring that we got our replacement vehicle. all the staff we met at the hotel were very friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. we only wished that we were there for two weeks instead of one!
Nothing at all. the weather was great for the time of year and we were even able to use the swimming pool even though that was a little cold; but we are from the north of england and used to cold water in our own north sea!Dhr. A. Oudhuis

Hotel was immaculate, not a speck of dirt in site, close to beach, rooms cleaned everyday. staff very helpful .Breakfast was odd, warmed up ham! hotel bar very expensive for drinks and lunch was not that great. no outside bar round the pool, just chairs to sit on. don't take their directions for the train as you go miles out of your way, ask at train station as their directions took 2.5hrs from airport but when i asked easy way to get back it was only 1 change on the train and took only 40 mins and cost 2.50 euros each instead of £70 taxi! well worth it!Anonymous

We went in august and it wasnt busy which was great as my children had hours of fun in the pool. the beach is just across the road. everything in the room is just what we needed.The town area is about 10 mins walk but the weather was fine so we didnt mind. the nearest supermarket was in the town aswell.Anonymous

A nice, relaxing pool area with plenty of sunbeds available. a nice shaded area away from the pool with a table tennis area to give something else for the children to do. large, spacious room for four with large bathroom and plenty fresh, clean towels. hotel receptionist was very helpful and very nice to deal with. The only negative aspect was that the room smelt very strongly of tobacco.Naco

The room was spacious and very clean at all times throughout our stay. the staff were very helpful. there was a great choice for breakfast and the pool area was lovely. the town centre was within walking distance and hotel was right at the beach and the beach front restaurants. Anonymous

The staff at the atenea were helpful and obliging at all times, especially in the restaurant and at the reception. their english was reassuringly good given my massacre of their language! the rooms were both cleaned and supplied with fresh towels daily. the buffet breakfast was excellent and set you up for the day nicely. location to the beach good too.Rooms a little 'cosey' for four, option of camp bed for older children perhaps not ideal. pool mostly closed despite nice weather, presumably no staff cover?Fawcett

The apartment was clean, spacious and very comfortable. the staff were friendly and very helpful. the location (vilanova) was wonderful. the beach is beautiful and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the town, which is just 5 mins away. vilanova was very relaxing and when we wanted a more lively time, we wondered into town to the train station. the cafe at the station makes a great cappucino, by the way. the train service to barcelona is regular and takes about only half an hour. finally, the breakfast in the hotel was great. there was lots of choice and it filled us up for the day. we had a fantastic, mini-break and would definately return to vilanova and atenea park.Butt

Lovely place for relaxing - away from city hussel - beautiful scenery but can take the train to go to they city - cab takes 5 euro to the metro Its good for someone who wants to relax not someoner looking for activities
