"Wasn't near the best hotel we stayed at (out of 10 - no lie!) on our trip."

Desk personnel were courteous but not excessively informed - e.g., didn't know the cost of a postcard to US, which for a tourist hotel... well, you get it. Also extremely uninformative about parking - not a language barrier problem - I speak fluent Spanish.Ticked off my wife royally: while I was parking, she and my 12 and 7 year olds were guided to the room - but not really: Young chap (not a gentleman - didn't offer to help with bags at all) had wife and kids follow 1/2 block, led into building, then pointed to stairs and left. My family climbed 6 flights of stairs, only to discover that room 6002 was on 5th (not 6th) floor. When my wife realized there was an elevator, she was infuriated. We're friendly, outgoing family and no excuse/reason whatsover for young man to behave like a putz - just ignorance and inexperience, I suppose. Very uncharacteristic and sad for our last night in Spain because every other hotel, restaurant, person in 8 other venues had been so friendly, responsive, knowledgeable.

Great location to use trains clean and tidy rooms.staff in the hotel very friendly and helpful had 3 small children with us so apartments lovely size.would be nice to have kettle in kitchen lovely stay.would stay there again

"Good quality for the price but an electric jug would have been appreciated"

I booked this on line because of its proximity to Camp Nou- which out to be close, but not too close. The cleanliness of the apartment was good although we were told that our apartment would not be serviced as we were only there for 6 days although we could request clean towels. nI the event, we didn't but it would have been nice for the towels to have been automatically changed at least once during our stay.We would also have appreciated a small electric jug- we don't drink coffee and having to boil a pan of water for tea was a real pain. We would also have appreciated a couple of tea towels to dry dishes- if I hadn't wanted to do dishes I'd have stayed in a hotel.The reception staff were excellent and very helpful Overall I'd say we got what we paid for which was reasonable clean and comfortable accommodation at a good price.

Pros: The apartment was great all the furnishings have been updated and the apartment has been recently renovated. the reception staff where very helpful and even escorted us to the apartment lift to ensure we didn't get lost even though it was only meters away, great location to restaurants , metro , local supermarket and all the local shops with great bargains. the people of barcelona are friendly and helpfull and speak english wherever possible .

Pros: Very prompt and easy check-in and check-out process. easy to hail taxi from hotel. close walking distance to restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores. very clean.
Cons: No hot water for the showers. only the first 2 family members got hot water. no cnn channel on tv. stove did not work but at least oven did.

Pros: Apartment was clean and ready for us on arrival, it was more than adequate for our needs as a family and well placed for excursions into bacelona cuty with bus terminating right outside and metro station only 3 mins away.
the hotel staff we exceptionally helpful and very good.
Cons: One power socket was hanging out of wall in the living room, this not a problem for us as my daughter in neqarly 15 but for families with small children it could have been very dangerous, i reported it but it had not been fixed prior to our departure. the fact that our apartment was on first floow meant that there was a lot of traffic noise from the very busy main road and things started to happen before 6am.
