Apartments in Barcelona Damas Location (Map)
Guests must call at least 30 minutes prior arrival to arrange key pick up in front of the apartments on the numbers provided on the booking confirmation. If not once you are in front of the building, please call anyway and the person in charge will be with you in 5 to 10 minutes.
*Check in Time is from 15:00 to 24:00. If you arrive before you can leave your luggage there with no problem.
(To check in between 24:00 and 8:00 am please contact the property directly and there is a charge of 27€).
*There is a deposit charge of 100€ payable in any currency and always in cash per apartments on arrival, which is handed back before departure once the apartment is checked.

CALLE DAMES or CARRER DAMES (in Catalan) is a short street which is very close to ST MARIA CATHEDRAL
The closest metro station is JAUMA I ( L-4, yellow line), which is only 5 minutes away.

From JAUMA I metro station, you will need to walk across VIA LAIETANA and go down the street CARRER DE L´ARGENTERIA until you get to a square with a cathedral called PL. ST. MARIA, from there walk down the street CARRER ESPASERIA turning left on CARRE ASES, following this you will get to CARRER DAMES. (from the metro to the apartments, it’s only 10 minutes walking) (see map)
Guests arriving at PRAT airport (Barcelona international airport)
To get to the apartments by taxi cost around 25€, but the cheapest option would be to get the AEROBUS (blues bus and blue bus stop outside the terminal) that goes form the airport to PLAZA CATALUNYA.
Once in PLAZA CATALUNYA you can get the metro following the previous directions or get a taxi for around 8€.
Guests arriving at GIRONA airport
This airport is 90km away from Barcelona and there are buses for every flight that lands.

The woman who runs the apartment is incredibly nice, and the entire building was very safe, clean, and in a great location.
The apartment looks nothing like the picture. literally, not even close. these apartments are one room studios where there isn't even enough room for two people to comfortably sit at the included table. unless you're desperate, or incredibly small, i would keep looking.05 Jul 09

This hotel is in a great location of many good shops, bars, restaurants and transportation. it was clean and just what we needed for 1 night prior to boarding our cruise ship. gigi, the hotel attendant was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. previous reviews stated that it was noisey and it was a little because of the location. if you are older and want extreme quiet, do not stay here. the night life just invigorated us, but we had just flown for 9 hours and were tired and did not get to enjoy it all. it was a good choice.

good location.Taxi drivers could not find the place.
it's not clearly mentioned that the street where the hotel is available is not reachable by car.
reception could not give proper directions to the taxi driver and i had to make several (roaming) calls to clarify.
photos shown on the site are very old and the room is not as big as in photos.
photos are not enough to understand the size of the room.
there was hardly any space around the bed.
the reception requested for extra charge for a 2 year old, when this site stated there was no extra charge. but in the end they did not charge us when we explained.18 Feb 09

The instructions to reach the apartments were spot on. on calling the number the lady did appear in 5 - 10 mins as it stated. we were allowed in the room before 3pm as the room was ready so that was a bonus. it was very clean and very trendy. i think alot of the equipment had hardly been used before. the beds were very comfy and the balcony over looking the street was a plus as we could sit and look out.will definately add it to my favorites and will definately be revisiting sometime. great location for bars, restaurants, the marina, the ramblas, the metro, everything.Just a small amount of damp on the roof of the shower cubicle that had gone black in colour. some noise in the early hours from the street below but to be expected from central barcelona, certainly nothing to put you off staying there.18 Oct 08
It was near to la ramblasYes, i was quoted £70 per night, and was charged nearly £100 per night. and they kicked us out of our room 11 hours before our flight with nowhere to even have a shower.11 Oct 08

Great apartment, with lovely hotel style appliances in a great area. good for young people you like a lively atmosphere with lots of restaurnats and barsApartment was rather small but for 2 people you don't really need any more space, also were a few cockroaches in the bathroom but we found their source of entry in a gap in the wood work and as soon as we blocked it, we stopped getting them coming in.21 Sep 08
