Apartments Descans (Park Güell) Barcelona

Pros: We are a family of 4 persons and this is our first visit to spain. the environment is quite, staff at travessera hotel reception friendly, kitchen facilities was excellent, bath in the bathroom is small but nice and neat. internet facility very good. living room spacious. the apartment is a home away from home.
Cons: We did not experience any negative thing, but it will be a nice idea to have a single twin bed instead of 2 single beds in the some rooms for couples.
you may consider providing telephones in the rooms link travessera hotel reception.
there is need to provide cable network for television.
as a christian family, we would have enjoyed our stay in barcelona better if there was access to christian tv channels like tbn, daystar, etc…

Pros: the appartment was clean and well equipped.
Cons: No parking which added a cost of another 27 euro per day. the direction to the appartments were very poor as the staff did not tell us to check in at the hotel travessa which was very misleading.

Pros: Location was suberb, away from tourist districts but still within walking distance to park güell (very near) and city center. clean and nice. wonderful to have a kitchen when travelling with youing children (we had our 7 months old daughter with us. she loved to sit on the floor watching the playground outside the window. no noise from outside and we never heard any neighbors.
Cons: Hard to find, even though we were standing right in front of it. no information on the website that the reception is in a hotel called hotel travessera around the corner. the heating system was impossible to manage so the apartment was rather cold.

Pros: An excellenty laid out apartment, with everythimg you could need !
Cons: It was a bit far from where we were spending most of our time. if you are needing to get a taxi to these apartments, please take a note of the street name as there arentwo in barcelona !

Pros: I liked that the apartment was very well arranged, there even was a washing machine - i didnt use it so i don't know if it was functional, an ironing board, everything you might need in a household. it was spacious and nice. and it is located very near parc güell which definitely is a plus!
Cons: It was terribly loud because of the location at the travessera de dalt right over a very busy street. the balcony door was blocked and couldnt be closed so we had to sleep with earplugs the first night. the desk clerk didn't come to see what the problem was - although he promised me he would. the door was fixed the next day. there was no cleaning lady, no towel change and no bed sheets change. i would have expected that for 120€ a night. the cutlery and the dishes were only partly clean, some plates were greasy and some glasses stained.

Cons: Did not change the towels/bed linen often enough and also did not empty the rubbish bins. we did this ourselves.

Pros: Modern and clean apartment, very complete even with washingmachine. we were suprised, after two weeks on a camping this was luxury! when you arrive go to hotel traveserra.
Cons: The trafficnoise.

Pros: Very clean and stylish apartment in good location.
Cons: Quite difficult to get in! its not very clear that you have to go to another hotel to get the keys to the apartment.
