From JAUMA I metro station, you will have to walk across Calle Jaime I, and it’s a narrow street that you will find before the Town Hall.

To get to the apartments by taxi cost around 25€, but the cheapest option would be to get the AEROBUS (blues bus and blue bus stop outside the terminal) that goes form the airport to PLAZA CATALUNYA.
Once in PLAZA CATALUNYA you can get the metro following the previous directions or get a taxi for around 6€.

This airport is 90km away from Barcelona and there are buses for every flight that lands.

To get to the apartments by taxi costs around 25€, but the cheapest options are getting the train or the AEROBUS (blues bus and blue bus stop outside the terminal) that goes from the airport to the centre, you must stop in PLAZA CATALUNYA. Once there, follow the map down to Portal de L’Angel. The apartment is very close to the Cathedral. If you take the train in the airport, you stop in Sants station and take the blue line of the metro. Change to the yellow line in Verdaguer station and go to Jaime I station which is only 2 minutes from the apartment.

Friendly and service-minded staff, nice apartment, good bed, fancy styling, extra advantage: shower and sun-bed on balcony. super-central, many good breakfast bars in the neighborhood

It was great staying in jaume 1. we had the attic apartment which is very exclusive and perfect for couples! the location is superb as well, la rambla is just minutes away. Apparantly someone stole the signboard, so that it took us awhile to locate the apartment from the nearest metro station. 08 Mar 09

Excellent location and friendly staff.Had initial difficulty in contacting the staff by telephone prior to our arrival. as a result we had to go directly to the apartments which were not that easy to locate. the accommodation consisted of one room (with limited cooking/washing facilities) and a shower room. for the cost we felt we would have been better staying in a hotel.20 Oct 08
Stayed 4 nights prior and after cruise. location was perfect, the apartment very clean. good value for price. a big thank you to gigi who let us in our apartment early after our cruise. other then it was noisy (everything is noisy in the gothic area, everthing was perfect. thanks again gigi. johanne and jim from canada 17 Oct 08
The only problem was that we couldn't sleep due to the noise in the street (traffic and people). the window (that we couln't close completely - old building) should be replaced with double pane.
