Good safe location near le de nord bus station. ideally for ryannair travellers arriving at girona airport. close to supermarket. clean tidy rooms providing soap, sachets showergel and towels. staff are helpful and friendly speaking good english. walkable distance to the sagrada familia and placa cantalunya. There was no kettle available in the room, but also the hotel would not be able to provide you with hot water after 10am as the kitchen is closed. it was rather difficult for me as i have a 2 year old toddler that needs a bottle of milk before bed. The hotel is in a good location. it's roughly 20 minutes walking distance from la rambla, the popular hotspot. it's dead close to la sagrada familia, maybe 5 minutes walking. we walked from the rambla to the hotel late at night on a couple of occasions - i felt totally safe doing so, since it involves walking along some main roads in a residential area. very pleasant yet reasonably central. the hotel itself was good value for money. the breakfast at 5 euros isn't especially great, but the staff were very cheerful and helpful, and the room comfortable.The only real problem was that although we booked a double room rather than a twin room, we were given the latter. the receptionist said that a twin counts as a double since it can fit two people. but when we complained that the website didn't state this clearly enough, he agreed to move us to a double when one became available (the following night). i'm not sure if this is more the website's fault or the hotel's, but still, nothing too serious.Mrs MARIAN BURTON
