Few minutes to metro, 20 minutes to city centre even with baby trolley. Area is noninternational, nice bar for breakfast near metro. Next to hotel is a empty building site and other side there is a office building where people lower the curtains if you wonder around in your room without t-shirt. And ofcourse you pass the crowd from the funeral house nearby.

This hotel was fantastic!!! I was slightly worried when I read some poor reviews online about the service and staff at the hotel. But when we arrived (very late at night) the night staff was available, very helpful and very efficient at getting us to our rooms in no time. The rooms were extremely clean, spacious and modern (just as is shown in the photos). Housekeeping staff were also very efficient and polite. I had read online that the rooms come with a mini-kitchen (which is true) but that these kitchens are completely bare (not a utensil, glass or plate in sight, which is also true). However when we asked at the reception desk they were very kind and helpful and more than happy to supply us with the number of cups, plates, knives, forks etc. that we needed, and even a kettle to make coffee in the morning! I would not recommend that you take breakfast at the hotel (12 Euros per day is too much). What my colleagues and I did was go to Glories Mall a few tram stops away and bought bread, cheese, yoghurt, coffee, fruit, croissants, and a variety of other breakfast foods. The sum of all these purchases was only 16 Euros, and it was more than enough to feed 4 hungry people for 4 days! The staff at the hotel was also very helpful when it came to checking out; checkout took no time at all, and they let us leave our bags in a locker until our flight and they made sure a taxi van came to take us to the airport. The location of the hotel is not perfect (I think a hotel situated for example in La Ramblas area may have been more conveniently located near to important attractions) however the hotel is less than a 3 minute walk away from the Auditori Tram station, and less than a 5 minute walk away from the Marina underground train station; from those 2 stops you can very easily get to any part of the city. For our group (since we were attending a conference at the CCIB) we found the tram a very convenient way to go back and forth from the conference center (it was about 8 stops away and the ride took less than 15 minutes). However if you are planning to frequently use the buses, trams, and underground trains, I'd suggest that you purchase a 2, 3, or 4 day pass which gives you unlimited usage of all these modes of public transportation for the specified number of days at a very reasonable price. N.B. these specific types of tickets have to be purchased in an underground station, NOT from an above-ground tram station - it took us a few days to discover that!.

Pros: Very modern hotel, 15 minute walk from port area and 5 minute walk from the nearest metro station, friendly helpful staff, they even had a room ready for us when we returned early from our cruise.

Pros: Great staff always willing to help and great location.
Cons: Beds are extremely hard

Cons: Just the location. sort of in a barren area, but very close to the metro, with quick access to central barcelona

Pros: Hotel staff is kind and helpful. rooms are very large, light and modern. we especially appreciated the integrity and the fair of the hotel staff: my wife forgot her two golden rings in our room, both rings were found after we left, and were returned to my wife, before she even ask for them, when we arrived to collect our luggage, which was kindly kept in the hotel storage per our request after check-out, because our flight was at night.

Pros: I liked that the rooms were really big and clean.
Cons: When you first enter the hotel lobby it smells really bad. the location seems a little dangerous, but it really isn't that bad. we never had any problems walking at night or day. it just seems scary because of the graffitti and general location.

Pros: Great value for money. you'd be surprised to find out you're staying in a spacious mini apartment, versus the usual standard bedroom. the design is very modern and the rooms are all clean.

the hotel staff were very kind, friendly, and forthcoming in helping us visit touristic sites in barcelona.

it's two metro stops away from las ramblas.
Cons: I wouldn't call it a negative feature, but it would add value to have utensils in the room's kitchen area.

Pros: Huge room for barcelona. quiet, clean, modern, and friendly staff.
Cons: Location was not within walking distance of the major "happening" areas. there was not even a bar or anything "late night" close by if you wanted to go out on foot. i'd recommend it more for the business traveler or someone who wants a big room or for a couple that know their way around the metro system as the "marina" metro station is close by.

Pros: Great place. exactly as described. a great hotel for a decent price.

Pros: The room was spacious and comfortably accommodated our family of four. the furniture was very modern, brand new and comfortable. it was very clean and the linen was of a very good quality. it was an easy walk to the metro station and also close to a large mall with carrefour in it.
Cons: We booked there because it was an apartment hotel which advertised a kitchenette in each room. when we arrived, we discovered that the kitchen was only available to be used by "long-term" guests - annoying to say the least when we had young children with us and didn't want to eat out every night of our 3 night stay.

Pros: Modern, clean, basically but nicely funished. good car parking facilities.

Cons: I was expecting kitchen facilities in the room as suggested on the website. there was a kitchen with a working fridge and microwave but no crockery, utencils or other equipment. it would have been nice to have had even limited equipment to be able to have breakfast and a cup tea.

Pros: Near metro. no noise outside or inside.

Cons: No kettle or pans to have a snack.

Pros: The room was very spacious. it was great having the separate bedroom especially with having our young daughter with us. very bright and airy, the air con was a godsend.lovely big clean fridge with ice box. big flat screen telly in lounge and bedroom.big flat screen telly on wall in lounge and bedroom.5 min walk from nearest metro and about 20mins from beach.
Cons: It was a bit strange that there was no kettle. the kitchen didn't have enough cups/glasses for all 3 of us. there weren't any pots or cutlery which was strange as there was a cooker and microwave but i dare say if we had asked thet would have been provided, but we didn't need them so never asked.
