Cons: The only thing we had troubles with - you should call them an hour / half an hour before you arrive, because they don't have ahything like reception - a guy will come and check you in after your calling. and there is no any signage on the building - so, call them!
Cons: There is no staff available. we were asked to change locations for our final night's stay despite booking for all nights at the one apartment.
apartment is very close to main city centre.
Cons: Floors in the room looked like they had never been washed since the apartment opened and toilet paper was empty and not replaced in one toilet for our entire stay. shower curtains were old and turning brown.
Cons: The water heater would rattle incessantly throughout the apt if the temperature was set high.
Cons: Only one small towel per person was provided. i am not happy with the security of the apartment as anyone can enter the downstairs 'lobby' area, and the room does not lock securely - the doors move and you can see whats on the other side. on leaving the airport you are supposed to phone the owners to arrange meeting at the apartments. i tried this three times between the airport and the apartment without any luck. i was begining to think i was sleeping on the street that night, when i finally got through from a public box outside the apartment.

Cons: You'll never find the place in your life, so take a taxi for the first time - and then you can get from the apartment to anywhere in the city center by foot.

This beautiful flat in Barcelona has 7 rooms in total; 4 private twin rooms, 2 double rooms and 1 private double room with an en-suite bathroom. The 6 rooms with shared bathrooms share 3 modern bathrooms and all guests share the fully equipped kitchen and dining area.
The Apt Gran Via Barcelona is located in a great neighborhood, centrally situated, just 10 minutes walking from Placa Catalunya, Arc de Triumph, Casa Battlo and just 15 minutes walking from La Rambla and La Padrera. Metro and bus stations, internet cafes and phone booths are all just 5 minutes walking distance away. Also a great feature to the location is the small convenience store and the cafe/restaurant downstairs.
