Great hotel, A little more expensive, but value for money Good location, by metro just 10-15 min. from Ramblas, Sagrada familia, Camp Nou, Suitable for all categories: business, family .....Rooms are very good with less noise (we stayed at the backsite of the hotel, rooms 301, 302). You can hear a little noise from the metro, but you get used to it very fast.Breakfast is expensive, but the mall (just 75m away) has many little restaurants with superb breakfast at low price.Most of the personell speaks english very well.Elevators and staircases are secured. You can only use them with the card belonging to the room, so this keeps away "uninvited guests".Metrostation just 75m away (Place Espanya).There is a possibility for storing you luggage from the moment you check out, so you can spent the last day more comfortable.Just like in most of the hotels in Barcelona, there's a certain noise, coming from the airconditioning. We simply cooled down the room during the day and swithed off the airco during the night. Result: good temperature, no noise.Because the hotel is not really situated in the center of the city, the prices for dinner in the restaurants nearby are quite cheaper.TIP: When you visit Barcelona for the first time: make a (tourist)bustour the very first day. You visit all the places worth visiting and you get a really good impression of the city. This can be very usable in the next days. You can get on the bus at Place d'Espanya (100m)So I (we) can recommend this hotel to everyone. We had a great stay.When we get to Barcelona next time, we do not have to spent time searching for a good hotel.

Well located, with friendly staff. However: a. they don't seem to believe that one can be staying on one's own - which I was in this case. (They even tried to charge me for two breakfasts even though I had made it very clear that my wife was not with me!) b: the rooms are very fancy, but very dingy and unnecessarily complicated: one should not need a set of instructions to find out how to turn the bathroom light on. Very expensive.

The location was excellent, we had been warned to stay clear of the Las Ramblas late at night but still wanted a very central location - this was perfect. It is the first stop from the airport (if you get the air port bus) which picked us up to return to the airport on the other side of the road (runs like every 10mins during the day). Metro stop also right outside the hotel. Staff v helpful as their english was perfect! I was glad we didnt have the hotel breakfast as there was a great cafe very close to hotel that did an all day continental breakfast for 6 euros. We were at the front of the hotel, it was a bit noisy but didn't keep us awake and we liked having view of the square (Placa D'Espanya). Big shopping centre right next door with food court if you want something handy- everything available from noodles to burgers to mexican food, small super market also in the shopping centre perfect for room supplies!! Room was really nice, very modern and clean. We slept late most days & room service never bothered us or went near the room until we left our key at reception when we were going out. Las Ramblas was in walking distance, I'm a slow walker & was busy taking in the sights so took us about 20-30mins. Metro could have you there faster but would recommend you walk as long as not raining! Tour bus also picks up & drops off across the road from the hotel.

We found the hotel easily at the placa despanya. Staff was very helpful whenever we had questions. They all really became like a concierge service. If you are prepared to use the excellent subway service, the location of the hotel from the city centre presents no problem. The room was very clean; my particular difficulty was that it was noisy as it was located on the very busy street side. I probably should have asked for a quiet room. The rooftop pool and bar provides a spectacular setting and we truly enjoyed spending time there.

We had a very easy transfer from the airport on the Aerobus to the B Hotel - it was the first stop from the airport to Place De L'Espanya and the hotel was just across the roundabout with the Fountain in the middle. Beautiful location! As soon as we entered we were greeted by a friendly smile and given our keys for the room - 2nd floor by the lifts. We had a great view of the Fountain in the middle. The room was ultra modern, good lighting and extremely clean. The bed was huge and we had a brilliant nights sleep - very comfortable. We could hear the Metro ever so slighly but it didnt annoy or keep us awake. We had a cocktail and wine at the roof bar that evening and later made our way down to the port (walk about 25 mins) cab back 10 Euros at about 1am. This hotel is very convenient for the tour bus which we took for 2 days, the red route was the best route. We had 3 nights at the B Hotel - weather was good, warm and sunny and we would have loved to have had a week there - There was more to Barcelona than I thought - very impressed with B Hotel and Barcelona - cant wait to see it all again and would not hesitate in staying or recommending this hotel.

We really enjoyed the roof with its swimming pool, great view on Placa de Espania and cocktels. Breakfast was great as well. Our room was spacious, and the bed large and comfortable.

love the infinity pool. poolside service was wonderful. love those mojitos and caiparinhas.enjoyed the salad , anchovies , chicken and tomato toasts. location was great... close to the metro and arenas shopping mall.walkable to passeig de gracia where all the stores we love are locatedbarcenoleta easily accessible by metro from the hotel. love the restaurants here.breakfast buffet was delicious... lots of variety. reception staff very helpful and accommodating.will definitely come back.

Hotel is modern & clean, staff very kind. Breakfast good. Roofpool and terrace incl. bar is great! Hotel is close to metro, shopping area and restaurants. Placa d'Espagna at 5 min. walking distance. We will come back.

The hotel is conveniantly located near the railway station and just 20 min walking distance from the centre of Barcelona.The hotel staff is very friendly and breakfast was good, you might hear the sound of the underground but not to so that it is annoying

Spacious room (7th floor), modern decoration, excellent bed, good airco allowing to cool the room, good breakfast buffet, the shower could use a de-scaling treatment but apart from that OK.Staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful.Location very close to the Plaza España, about 40 min walking from the old centre, so traveling by metro is advisable. Good connection to the airport by Aerobus.Several good restaurants nearby (Xop d'Or, Portonovo, Rias de Galicia).Free wifi is nice. Good value for money.
