A very basic hotel, excellent location with clean towels and sheets but that's it.Bed and mattress had sunk in the middle, no english channels on tv, very basic furniture, no pool, no bar, reception on 2nd floor,

Pros: It is a clean basic hotel in a very convenient position. a few steps from the metro paseig de gracia and casa batllo'.
Cons: A bit noisy. walls are thin and we had a family with a crying tot next door.

Pros: All the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful, the room was spotlessly clean with fresh towels provided every day. the location was excellent, the hotel felt very safe and it was exceptional value for money.

Pros: In general the hotel is ok, but i stayed in two rooms, in the second the shower threw water everywhere. but the staff is nice and helpful, the location is good, the rooms are clean.
Cons: The isolation of sound from one room to another is very poor, you can tell, for example, when people are having sex (lol), if your room neighbours are noisy they can disturb you very easily.

Pros: Positive: hotel is really in a good location, everything is almost a walk away. rooms are cleaned everyday, free fast internet, the atmosphere is really nice
Cons: Small!!! the rooms are 6 squared meters. beds are really small and noisy.

Pros: Very friendly staff; excellent location; close to metro, train and bus stations; great value for money (we paid 43 euro for one night).

Pros: This hotel is quite close to the heart of the city. for an overnight traveller the rooms are basic but fine.
Cons: The hotel itself is tricky to find, google it properly before you go. the rooms are fairly small and the walls thin.

Pros: Great location, very clean & very cheap for the area.
Cons: Finding hotel is confusing as it is called universal hotel at the entrance & is in what appears to be an office block. the room was very small & we found out that they had put a double bed into what was meant to be a single room - according to the fire safety plan. large tile missing from bath panel & the room obviously had damp problems & was generally a bit tatty.
