"Very good hotel staff and very co operative"

Pros: Very good hotel staff and very co operative. location is good, clean and well maintained
Cons: Breakfast is ok but not very convincing. too many preservative stuffs to be consumed in morning. not so fresh and healthy

Pros: Its in a great location, close to most tourist attractions.
Cons: We got moved to another apartment, without informing us prior to our arrival. the staff were not very polite and did not explain the situation properly. the room was not very clean, bathroom had (pubic) hairs in the shower and the free wireless internet was not working.

Pros: Diego was a gracious host and a wealth of information. the rooms were a nice size. i was expecting smaller rooms. the breakfast was good to get you started in the morning. the location was perfect. close to la rambla. i would recommend this hotel.

Cons: Not that easy to locate front entrance - need to be advised they are on 2nd floor and which bell to press - quite confusing!!

"Staff - jacko (not sure how to spell his name) was super friendly"

Pros: Staff - jacko (not sure how to spell his name) was super friendly. he was very helpful and informative. the place is kept clean at all times. love the smell of the laundry detergent. i look forward to breakfast everyday - a spread of hard boiled eggs, toasts, croissants, juices, cereal. it's not fancy but it's better than nothing. you get a sense that he definitely put in effort to make a great presentation out of the breakfast and genuinely caring about the place and the guests. location is great, 10-15 min walk to la ramblas and 2 blocks from the closest metro.
Cons: The pictures online is a little misleading. but as long as you're not expecting something fancy (duh, at this price you're paying?), the apt-style b&b is really quite comfortable and cozy. another huge negative is it's somewhat hard to find. the online web should be more upfront about it being an apartment style b&b. also, there was no sign anywhere about the "bed & breakfast muntaner". the buzzer at the door only says "barcelona apt" which of course you wouldn't buzz thinking that is something else! so they definitely need to change that or at least add an extra label saying "b&b muntaner" so that arriving guests wouldn't be completely lost.

Cons: The bedroom we had was very hot (no aircon) and faced the inner courtyard and the bed squeaked everytime you moved! if i was to stay there again i would want a room facing the road as the common areas were a lot cooler.
