No indication at the hotel entrance of how to gain entry. once in the foyer no indication that the hotel is on the 6th floor. the lift was out of order for two days which meant that we had to carry suitcases down six flights of stairs. the breakfasts were very mean. there was no cereal, no cooked meats, yogurt or fruit. we had to share three bread rolls between two of us except for one day when there was only one each! on one day i asked for a second cup of coffee and was told that we couldn't have a second cup. i have never stayed at a hotel that was so mean.

Very hard to find because there isn't any sign from the street

Yes, the price was changed in between my booking and paying for it.

It's very difficult to find room when you arrived only small panel outside no reception and no advertissing on door of appartement

If you are checking in late, ie 10pm or later, confirm with phone call early in day or make sure you speak good spanish shared bathroom, though one room is en-suite

Single shared bathroom for four doubles maybe a problem if all rooms are full. i was on my own there so i was fine. price was maybe a little high for room with shared bathroom

If the small old lift is very busy it is a long walk up to the 6th floor. difficult to find on websites.

We did not likr the shared bathroom considering the price

I was asked to pay in advance, but receive confirmation of payment (which i had to specifically ask for) only later. when i refused to do so, the owner disturbed me in my romm at 9 pm to yell at me and threaten me with the police. the romm was tiny, and had a view towards a grey wall only one meter across from the window. as for the next question: i would not recommend this hotel to anybody.

No enlish of staff. i stayed 6 nights and my towels and sheets were not changed in this time. for the price i payed i would think they would be changed.website says share bathroom with 1 other room but you also have to sahre with staff and this not mentioned. often no toilet paper.staff opened my window during in day and left open- problem for secutity of my things and horrible smell filled my room from area below.

Our room was close to the street side of the building and therefore a bit noisy

First we thought it was a hotel but when we arrived at the casa it seems to be a b&b. also on the website it was not clear what the acc. realy was. it suggested that it was a hotel.

If you don't speak any spanish/catalan, you may have a hard time. one of the owners does speak english and both speak french, but they are not often there. bring your phase book!

No electricity during the stay.

Location. the bed and breakfast was quite far from the center of the city. the closest train was often closed at night. the bed and breakfast did not have a phone for the patrons to use.
