I stayed at the Catalonia Castellnou hotel for 4 nights in May and overall was very pleased with the hotel and service. The public areas are attractive if small and the breakfast is great with very helpful service. The double bedroom was on the small side but fine as i was travelling alone. The only problem encountered was the repair work going on in the room above my bedroom which was a nuisance on arrival at 5pm and occasionally on other days. It would have been even more annoying if I had had to work in the room. Paula Brighton

I have been in this hotel for two nights, the room was nice but too warm and near the location very bad.Anyway, it's a clean place e there are some services, I don't think that I will come back in this hotel.

Pros: Staff is very helpful and speaked english well enough. hotel location near metro station is good.
Cons: Morning breakfasts should be included to standard price. 13€ for a breakfast during the week is too much (7,5€ on weekends). i wasn't satisfied to cleaning: cleaning started already at 10 am and hotel cleaner left doors to balcony unlocked and i had to lock them when i came back to room. my room was in the floor 6 and of course the elevator came just to floor 5, luckily i am a young man so i didn't have problem with it.

Pros: The rooms are lovely, although a bit out of the centre, it was very relaxing, and very easy access to public transport. lovely staff, helpful and polite.

Pros: The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and polite. the rooms, although a bit on the small side, were exceptionally clean. the breakfast buffet was very good and all, around service was excellent.
Cons: I did not like having to pay for the use of the safe particularly when i was warned of the possibility of theft and that security regarding my use of the safe was not guaranteed.

Cons: The room on the first floor, by the restaurant, # 16 i believe is terrible. this is not a 3 star hotel and this room should not be offerred at all. all you can hear is the drain water 24/7 and the restaurant staff; the room smells like mildew, there is no balcony, you cannot even open the window!!! worst class ever!

Pros: Very nice,helpful staff, good location - quiet but close to the center, transportation and shoping, very clean, safe area
Cons: Not everything was working properly - wifi was in and out, shower water hardly running. the hotel needs a litle physical upgrading.

Cons: The receptionists - 2 from 6 receptionist spoke badly in english,difficult to get information from them. necessary to wait for staff which knows english
