Excellent hotel, location could not be better (situated in the heart of barcelona), beautiful rooms (very spacious and huge shower), airconditioning not centrally controlled (thus you can actually program it to what you want), incredible value for money!

The room was excellent, very clean, stylish, almost silent (the black out curtains we so good i repeatedly got up late!). perfect location, room service wine was very resonably priced.Mini bar wasn't very cold (didn't spoil my experience)breakfast if £15 a day per person - didn't both with this though because there's a few reasonable coffee shops within a few steps so its not really a negative!Anonymous

Some staff were incredibly helpful and so welcoming. enrique is a gem, as was the gentleman behind front desk when we checked in at around 8pm on october 31st. the location of the hotel is excellent, right next to la seu, and close to las ramblas. the room was also very clean.One of the gentleman behind front desk later in the evening was less than entirely helpful. our room was very close to the elevators, and one of them made a really terrible noise everytime it was used. very annoying and not something you expect from a 4-star hotel.Anonymous

We loved our time at catalonia catedral. great location right in the middle of the action yet nice and quiet. lovely evening sitting beside the rooftop pool watching the sun go down. staff friendly and helpful (all spoke english). beautifully fitted out room with a large bathroom.Cooper

The hotel is very impressive, modern, exceptionally clean, rooms are well equipted, and the bathroom,/shower also excellent. bar prices not bad at all. swimming pool on the roof with towels, machine for drinks and snacks. best points in a fantastic location in the gothic area, best location in barcelona, near to the ramblers, shops, bars and museums. at night silence, no traffic, noisy people, heavenly! can't wait to go back.No - not one thing!Van Saarloos

Fantastic location, huge rooms, lovely bathroomHouse keeping not done quickly enough. tried to ckeck in at 130pm. was told our room not ready and to come back in 1 hour. 2 hours later we returned and were advised that the room was still not ready. we advised this was not good enough. we were told to come back in 30mins - we returned after more than an hour and were told it was still not ready. we had been up since 4am, so were looking forward to a rest. we went up and actually checked our room, and it had been cleaned - so we were able to get into our room 4 hours after checking in...not impressed.ARTOIS
