This hotel has the PERFECT location right by the catedral and close walking distance to El Born, La Rambla & the Marina.The hotel was clean & modern, beds were very comfortable, it was all okay but not as impressive as I would have expected for the price but then again it was worth it just for the location & that is what you are paying for.The service was disappointing, reception staff did their job but weren't particularly welcoming. There was no service on the roof terrace for drinks & when we went down to the bar to get a drink to take up we had to find a member of staff from the resturant to serve us whom was not very friendly as they obviously didn't have enough staff & then served drinks that had been made wrong but the solution was to go to the shop buy your own drinks & take the whole bottle up to the roof.We didn't use the resturant as there were just too many good places to eat so can't comment on that but it looked like it was lacking atmosphere and expensive.To sum up the hotel had a fantastic location but the hotel was lacking atmosphere and friendly staff it may as well have been an apartment.

We loved to stay at this little Comforthotel. The area is perfect. You can walk to the sightseeing places in the barri gotic, raval, born, ribera. The shopping mall isw near and also the catalunja place. Everything was perfect for us, including the breakfast. Unbelivable!If I come back again, it would be the only place to be.Iris from Wuppertal (50 Years old)

Pros: Great location, easy laid back feel not too stuffy and good quality breakfast (albeit limited choice if you don't eat pork)
Cons: Probably cheaper places for an evening meal and lack some atmosphere.

Pros: Excellent location, in the heart of interesting and bustling gothic quarter yet our room was so blissfully quiet we ended up sleeping for 10 hours the first night! staff extremely helpful. rooftop terrace good for relaxing in the october sun(though could do with some parasols for a little shade in summer).
Cons: Although we loved the minimilistic decor the simple addition of a mirror above the desk/dressing table would avoid having to use bathroom mirror to do make up thus avoiding queue for bathroom and allowing more time exploring this fabulous city!

Pros: The hotel is in an excellant location. it is clean and the rooms are nice and quiet.
Cons: We found that the staff in the hotel were not very helpful or friendly. it was a case of checking us in and after that they didn't seem to concerned how we got on. service in the bar also was extremely slow and sometimes non-existant.

Pros: Very clean fresh, very comfortable beds, high quality fittings. had internet access for guests and tea making facilities
Cons: The decor is a bit too sober, too black and white. staff could be better informed to give basic information about how to get to the couple of major local sights from the hotel. front of house staff need to understand the needs of people newly arrived in the city and be able to provide change for payment.

Pros: Great location, excellent room (408) really good breakfast buffet, good housekeeping staff
Cons: Poor almost non existent service in the bar and at breakfast. very little information available at the front desk. only a little thing but no hair conditioner available had to waste time looking for a supermarket that didn't have a queue!

Pros: Brilliant location. walked everywhere with ease. lovely pool. cocktail hour fun.
