This is a delightful hotel in a very good location near the cathedral square which is a lively spot although the hotel was quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool was adequate for a refreshing dip and the roof area was pleasant to relax in

Great location. In the middle of restruants, shopping and sights. Great room looking out on a well traveled court yard. A lot of noise, sepecially after 11 pm until 3 am. The price of the location. Was there with just my wife. Not really kid friendly.

Often a bit of a lottery booking hotels in big cities, especially if you can't pay top dollar. We opted for a room with its own sun terrace and what a bonus. Great for relaxing in the later afternoon sun with some Vina Sol, and so close to the heart of the Gothic quarter. We would definitely stay here again and the staff were keen to help.

We wanted a hotel in a great location that was comfortable, clean and a good value. The location was great, service excellent and rooms perfect. The hotel was quiet at night for sleeping and offered a great breakfast in the morning. We would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to Barcelona.

I rate the hotel five stars accommodation was very clean quiet and provided all the facilities we needed in a modern way.The hotel was very well situated in virtually a traffic free situation which made it very easy to explore the old part of Barcelona,the staff were helpful and tolerant the only critism I would have was that the breakfast was very expensive,the bacon and egg was cold,the plates were cold,we would have preferred a continental breakfast but fortunately there are plenty of places near by which offer an alternative to the hotel. We had a very enjoyable stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel .

Clean, comfortable, helpful staff and convenient location. Don't have breakfast in hotel use a local cafe as cheaper and lots of choice within a short walk. We stayed as a birthday treat for my in laws and spent 3 nights in Barcelona we went to the camp nou and watched a game, we easily got tickets from the main fc barcelona website. It was a great family occasion.

My favorite place. Even the rooms to the street are quiet. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. We stayed a weekend, and would definitely book at the Catalonia Catedral again - also for a longer period of time.

Great location, easy to walk from airport bus stop at placa Catalonia.Efficient check in. Friendly staff. Small room, very comfortable double bed, good ac, quiet. Not enough drawers for clothes in room. Small rooftop pool, limited sun loungers/ outdoor furniture, but very nice to sun yourself and then cool off at the end of the day. No staff on roof, room service to roof or take your own drinks up as some guests did. I would recommend this hotel for short city break accommodation.

This hotel has the PERFECT location right by the catedral and close walking distance to El Born, La Rambla & the Marina.The hotel was clean & modern, beds were very comfortable, it was all okay but not as impressive as I would have expected for the price but then again it was worth it just for the location & that is what you are paying for.The service was disappointing, reception staff did their job but weren't particularly welcoming. There was no service on the roof terrace for drinks & when we went down to the bar to get a drink to take up we had to find a member of staff from the resturant to serve us whom was not very friendly as they obviously didn't have enough staff & then served drinks that had been made wrong but the solution was to go to the shop buy your own drinks & take the whole bottle up to the roof.We didn't use the resturant as there were just too many good places to eat so can't comment on that but it looked like it was lacking atmosphere and expensive.To sum up the hotel had a fantastic location but the hotel was lacking atmosphere and friendly staff it may as well have been an apartment.

We loved to stay at this little Comforthotel. The area is perfect. You can walk to the sightseeing places in the barri gotic, raval, born, ribera. The shopping mall isw near and also the catalunja place. Everything was perfect for us, including the breakfast. Pros: Great location, easy laid back feel not too stuffy and good quality breakfast (albeit limited choice if you don't eat pork)

Pros: Excellent location, in the heart of interesting and bustling gothic quarter yet our room was so blissfully quiet we ended up sleeping for 10 hours the first night! staff extremely helpful. rooftop terrace good for relaxing in the october sun(though could do with some parasols for a little shade in summer).
Cons: Although we loved the minimilistic decor the simple addition of a mirror above the desk/dressing table would avoid having to use bathroom mirror to do make up thus avoiding queue for bathroom and allowing more time exploring this fabulous city!
