Staff very helpful and friendly
The decor etc is a bit dated and the hotel is a long walk from the main centre. it is uphill and quite difficult to find. although it is situated in a out of the way place it was quite noisy on the street.DAROCHA

Good location; near 2 metros and some attractions (if you don't mind walking up the hill on your back to the hotel). the staff was helpful, especially when we asked to change rooms.I was allergic to the rooms; i didn't stop sneezing and my eyes didn't stop watering until we left the hotel everyday. The hotel staff was good, the room was clean The window of the room was out into the well inside the building

- clean and large bathroom
- bed sheets were changed every day
- air conditioning was working well
- there is a nice park near by
- the room was quiet
- the room was very small for a “4 star” hotel
- internet was expensive (20 c/min, minimum 2 eu) and was not working. the keyboard was worn out - one could not see the letters on the keys.
- the location is fair, and a little bit confusing; relatively long walk uphill from the metro station. you need a detailed map of the area
- there were ants in the room, and even in the bed (i had left a peach on the desk).
- staff could be friendlier

The hotel putxet is in an excellent position,situated between two metro stops.the hotel service was excellent and the rooms were cleaned every day.i recommend staying at this hotel and would definitely stay there againPurvis

I found the location to be in a good spot if you prefer a slightly quiester area within easy reach of the centre. the taxi ride from the airport was between 25 and 30 euros and the nearest metro station was actually closer than i had thought having read other reviews. to get to plaza catalunya for example took well under 10 minutes. parc guell was within walking distance and i would stay in this area again. Friendly staff, nice room, very cheap price for what you got.Room had been cleaned in a hurry. the basics such as the toilet and bedsheets were spotless, but the floor had not been mopped in the bathroom. the tv reception was poor too. i would say this was a 3 star, not a 4 star hotel.Skaljac
