The hotel is in a side street just off arc de triomf, the street is not exactly where you'd expect a nice hotel like catalonia princesa to be but nevertheless it was a pleasant surprise. there is always a security guard at the front door, day or night. the rooms were spacious and the bathroom was immaculate. there is a large walk in shower as well as a sepeate bath which was great. the staff were friendly and polite. 10 minute walk to the beach and 15-20mins walk to las ramblas.

Nice, clean hotel, good value for money. hotel staff was helpful. The only negative was that map google map shown on the website was not of right location of this hotel! there was a confusion because of 2 similarly named streets. maybe something worth looking into, so future guests won't have this problem - the right location was about 1 mile away from what google map was showing.Anonymous

This is a great hotel if only for the location. the rooms are basic but ok, everything works well, and they are very clean. i would definitely stay there again, and the price through easytobook.com was very good. i read that the area was not so safe, but actually it is very safe and quiet with some really nice little cafes around it. The only negative thing i experienced was that there was a hotel mini-bar bill at the end, and i did not use the mini-bar at all when i was there. i was waiting at reception on check-out for around 15 minutes to sort this out before someone came to resolve it. the only person available on check-out was brand-new, so he didn't know what to do, and just kept telling me that i must have used the mini-bar if the bill says that. in the end, apparently, the previous tenants of the room had an unpaid mini-bar bill, and the hotel system "automatically" rolls it over unto the next night...not ideal if you are coming in as a new tenant. would still reccommend the hotel for everything else, though!Anonymous

Stayed there twice now, 4 years apart and it is still good. the surprise is the street its in compared with the interior of the hotel. a massive contrast and one that is a pleasant shock. breakfasts are good and the service excelent. hot and cold selections, including a fruit salad. its also a very quiet hotel in a very quiet area. Nothing really negative. its a bit of a walk to la ramblas, but an intersting one through the narrow streets. would not put it down on this.Anonymous

The location was excellent and within easy walking distance of all the city sights.Because of other feedback i had asked not to be in a room near the lift. when we got to the hotel they did not appear to have a room for us and started to ring around for other accommodation! however after about 20 minutes the hotel receptionist said that they did have enough room and we were directed to a room which was by the lift!! however it was on the 6th floor and was not noisy at all.Anonymous

Good location walking distance from bus station and close to other attractions. very nice reception staff and helpful. it was very clean and felt safe.Hotel room was just a enough, but didnt linger there as not spacious. that didnt encourage me to stay in the hotel, but was on a sightseeing holiday anyway. so suited me fine.Anonymous

The location was perfect for our visit and the staff was helpful. the hotel was clean and relatively quiet. seemed also to have good security, the staff questioned even my visiting daughter.The size of the beds. a "double" is really not much bigger than a twin. we didn't use the breakfast as it seemed comparitively expensive.A E Lucas
