The location was very good,near enough to sights but quiet. we stayed one night at beginning of a cruise and one night at the end. both our rooms where lovely. the reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Holt

An excellent hotel for what we needed on our city break. about a 10/15 min walk from plaza catalunya and start of las ramblas and about 15/20 mins from the gothic quarter. we enjoyed these walks as you get to see all the other streets and areas in between these popular tourist spots! the dining/bar area is small but this was not a problem for us as we were keen to eat out in the various tapas bars and restaurants. the room was very very comfortable, scrupulously clean and nice decor. tha bathroom was also immaculate. the staff were extremely nice and very helpful and accomodating! a highly recommended hotel and we will definitely be back.Nothing negative to say at all other than there are no tea/coffee/kettle facilities but that is a "spain thing" and not a "hotel" fault!Anonymous

Very good deal off-season for such a high quality hotel. The breakfast was expensive and not especially good but that was fine as it was optional. Anonymous

Great hotel in a good location, we asked on the off chance about a coldplay concert that was 'sold out' and due to start three hours later, the gentleman on reception said he would make some calls and within the hour had found us two reasonably priced tickets - fabulous!!! all aspects of the service in the hotel were great, and nothing was too much trouble.We had two rooms that were on the smoking floor, even though we had requested non smoking through the easytobook website, ours was fine but we the in-laws had to change rooms as smelled of stale smoke. insist on non smoking if you're a non smoker!Barrett

The staff couldnt do enough for us...printing off maps of resturaunts we wanted to try, advising us on the best areas to check out and so on. it was a really friendly atmosphere.The parking was a little expensive compared to other hotels in the area but everything else was greatAnonymous

Had a great experience in barcelona, except for the fact that my girlfriend had her bag stolen by a guy driving by on a scooter. hotel staff were extremely helpful, helping us whereever possible and allowing us to check out later. very, very good service.Anonymous

Excellent location, clean comfortable room. staff friendly & helpful,Room quite small & no view whatsoever. no tea/coffee making facilities so was dying for a "cuppa"!
