Chic and Basic Bruc Apartments Barcelona Location (Map)
You can also walk to the emblematic Gaudí buildings: La Pedrera (Casa Milà) and Casa Batlló, both of which are located on Passeig de Gràcia, at the starting point of Plaza Cataluña. Also close by are Las Ramblas, famous for their diversity and bustle of activity. At the end of Las Ramblas you will find the vantage point of Colón and the port area.
From the Plaza Cataluña it is possible to reach any point in the city using the metro, bus or trains given that this is one of the focal points of the city. In this plaza you can find a tourist office, a large shopping mall and a tourist bus stop.
How to reach the Chic and Basic Bruc Apartments?From Barcelona airport, by bus: Take airport bus A1 (Aerobus) directly at the airport and get off at Plaça Catalunya. Once you get off the bus take Fontanella street towards Plaza Urquinaona. Keep straight on Ronda Sant Pere street and turn left into the second street which is Bruc. The apartments are based on number 16 on the right hand side.
From Barcelona airport, by train: Take the train to Passeig de Gracia station. Then walk Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes and take the third street on your right which is Bruc.

Excellent location within 5 min walk of pl catalunya and with metro station just outside and 2 supermarkets very, very close.
apartments are excellent for having breakfast any time you want and having more space to chill out than a normal hotel room.
Steep ladder and small hatch to go through to get into bed on mezzanine platform would not be suitable for lots of people and could cause problems - should really be mentioned before booking. even when fit and healthy it was very sore on feet!
having to phone someone in advance to meet you is a bit off-putting, especially when you don't speak the local language and don't know if they will be able to speak your language or not, but in the end it worked out well and leah, who met us, was excellent.
no kettle was a bit odd! had to boil water for tea in a pot. also got caught out by thinking we had an oven as there was something built in under the hob but it turned out to be only a microwave (so not great for the pizza we had bought!)Anonymous

We found our stay to be very pleasant, the apartments were comfortable and met all our needs, especially the location. we would also like to thank renato, he was very helpful and when we encountered a problem acted on it very efficiently.
