Only a few minutes walk away from the Claris Barcelona, you have Passeig de Gracia which is the number one shopping area in Barcelona. Passeig de Gracia also has many excellent restaurants and cafes as well as a host of top-named shops.
From the Claris you only have a 20 minute walk to both Placa de Catalunya and the Ramblas and you are only at 10 minutes walking distance from the famous La Pedrera by Antoni Gaudi and Casa Batllo.
The nearest metro stop is Diagonal which is only 10 minutes walking from Claris Barcelona. The metro will take you to practically any site of interest via the Barcelona metro system.
How to reach the Claris?From the Barcelona-El Prat international airport: Take the Aerobús service to Plaça Catalunya and from there continue walking or take the L3 green line towards Canyelles and step off after one stop. From the airport you can also take the train to train station: RENFE- Paseig de Gracia.
By public transportation: The nearest underground station is Passeig de Gràcia, on the L3 green line.

No hesitation in allowing us to store our golf bags several days ahead of check-in and we were only staying there one evening also, really slick design features in the individual rooms as well as public areas perfect location for high-end shoppingAnonymous

A very impressive hotel and a perfect location from which to explore the city. our first room had broken air-con but they quickly moved us to a better and cooler room. the rooftop pool was small but never felt too crowded. 
The bar staff were not hugely friendly and the drinks were overpriced on the roof terrace.Levin

It is a good location for shopping, metro, etc.I thought the staff was incompetent. could not help with any ideas about what when adn where to go. no rec's for great restaurants. very ordinary rooms. food was ok, pool is very small on the roof. not enough chairs for guests. Anonymous

Lovely hotel very central for sight seeing and the tour busses etc.nice staff comfortable room.Very very expensive for what it is not equivalent to 5 star in uk or ireland but prices 5 star. only ate in the hotel once 18 euros for a burger and fries.has aspirations to grandue that the hotel itself does not meet.pool disappointing much smaller then the website suggested.Anonymous
