Built in the year 2000, the Palace of Congresses is quite impressive. Featuring architecture that transformed mere meeting rooms into fantastic auditoriums, exhibition spaces, and business centers, all with the latest in high technology, the convention center has become the place to have meetings and concerts in Barcelona. If you aren't there as part of a convention, you can still tour the facility and have lunch in one of the 3 star restaurants.
