Horrible...first of all people at the reception is not kind at all and doesn't seem to make your trip a good experience. When they give us the room we felt cheated because it doesn't look like the picture. Everything is old, the tv is not working, and when we opened the window the view was an old and dirty wall. You can hear everything in the room next door. The air conditioner didn't work. The only good thing is the location but when we walk around we have seen many hotels..I'm very disappointed about this hotel.

We loved the hotel....The service was very nice and friendly, the rooms were clean and although you are in the middle of the city it is very quiet !!! the breakfast was good and it had alot of variety to choose.

great location,staff very helpfull,around the corner from the gotic area,a couple of streets away from main streets for shopping , really handy to bus stops,rooms abit small,but it was fine other than that as really you only sleep there,and the fact of being so close to everything that made up for the room being small,i would go back there to stay for that reason.

Staff great, location excellent.Our double room was small, air conditioning not working. No sleep until 5.30 am due to noisy neighbouring building. Moved rooms, air con not working again. Toilet blocked and sink

the room were ok, but the insulation between rooms is verey poor, you can hear everything from the room behind you. The television is placed so that it cannot be wievd from the bed, and as there are no chairs it is not idesl.The breakfast is said to be served from 7 am but there was no coffee befor we left at 7.30.All in all I was not satishfied and can really not understand how the hotel can be rated as 4 stars.

The first night we were not happy with the room we had but when we asked to be moved the next day they were very helpful and fast to make sure they found us a room which we where happy with.The staff are very friendly and helpful at all times.We will like to stay in the same hotel when we visit Barcelona again.

Pros: Staff very helpful saw some bad reviews before i went so was very happy that this was not what i experienced.

Pros: Excellent location, quiet even though on major road
Cons: Staff hardly spoke english, bathroom was fairly clean but cramped and no shower curtain or lock, uncomfortable beds, one of the computers in their internet room didnt work for the whole week we were there and no one seemed to care

Pros: The confortel almirante hotel was centrally located. my breakfast was included and had a good variety. most of the staff was knowledgeable and helpful.
Cons: The rooms could use updating, painting, and repairs and more attention to cleanliness in the bathroom.

Pros: The room we had was very nice and spacious
Cons: As we arrived very late on sunday 6th march, we were given a room which was not leisure room when we woke up in the morning the drainage of the basin and bathroom was not working so we let the receiption know and made them aware that our room should be leisure not a economy therefore they changed it for us and after that everything was perfect as i mentioned above.
