Close to the centre of the city but in a much quieter area. a short walk to the metro and two stops to placa catalunya. the water in the fridge was greatly appreciated and the maid and breakfast lady were really nice and helpful. decent buffet breakfast, including the first time i've had salad this early! The hotel staff was always very helpful, and the hotel was exceptionally clean. your price,which included a fabulous buffet breakfast, was very reasonable.It's a 15 minute walk to the center of the city, but we enjoyed the daily walk through the local neighborhood.Anonymous

The staff were very friendly, they gave advice on where to go and were knowledgable.The website states the rooms have a free mini bar, i think you need to be perfectly clear and whilst it is a free mini bar in the room, they only stock water in the mini bar.Anonymous

Great experience at the confortel overall. the value of the hotel for the money was especially a treat. clean, modern, open mini bar, helpful staff, small gym, breakfast was good (not included in the room charge). only 2 items of note: no beverage, serve yourself area for even tea/ coffee and the location was about a 30 minute walk from the center /rambla area. we would return to this hotel again. really enjoyed the bed, new bathroom fixtures, lighting, and residential location. Wanted some way to get hot water for tea/ coffee off hours. once the kitchen was closed, this wasn't a possibility. only one evening staff person (female) was rude. others were extremely helpful.Smithson

Great location for the bus link to girona airport
only 25 minute walk to ramblas
bakery over the road for breakfast
free mini bar - great customer thinking instead of the punitive pricing normally associated with mini bars for not too great a cost to the hotels.free internet in the lobby - another small cost to the hotel but with very positive customer impact - why can't more hotels think this way

The room was clean and fresh and the staff were helpful and spoke good english. the free mini bar was a really nice touch and there was plenty of towels in the room. the bed linen was good.The room was really dark as there seemed to be hardly any lights. there was also only one spare plug socket in the entire room which was really inconvenient. in addition there was no mirror above the dressing table, just on the back of the door, which makes getting ready in the morning/evening quite difficult. also the hotel was a bit further out of the main centre than the description made out- at least a 25 min walk.Anonymous

Couple in our 30's visiting barcelona for wedding, flew into girona airport with ryan air, got bus directly to station du nord (main bus station) & hotel right across the road, 2 min walk. 10 min walk into main area (la rambla) etc. hotel was everything we required, free mini bar great, would stay again.Cassidy
