Pros: The hotel is clean and tastfully designed. beds are relativly comfortable, shower is very large. there is a nice sun deck and pool for coolling off in the summer (not heated, shallow - not for swimming).rooms are on the small side, first floors facing the street will get street noise. breakfast is very good. there is a nice market a block away. passieg de gracia is a shopping street, 7 minutes walk. la rambla is 15 minutes walk. the street of the hotel is not significant, no resturants, nice shops on the street. staff is very friendly though they don't know much about resturants, shows and recommended places to visit.

Pros: Staff was always helpful and nice. rooms were very clean and hotel was quiet.
Cons: There weren't enough towels in the room. ie - if we wanted to go to the pool, we had to request towels.

Pros: A wonderful hotel. we were told we had been upgraded, and our room was excellent. the reception staff were lovely, polite, helpful,& could communicate in english. the location was perfect for our needs. the breakfasts were great, a wide choice of very good quality food and pleasant staff.
