Pros: Modern clean room, well maintained surroundings, swimming pool was small but again modern and well maintained.
Cons: Reception staff were at times unhelpfuland openly cold towards english visitors. furthermore got the impression there were not many members of staff to provide assistance however apart from this an all-round great stay!!!!!

Pros: Staff were excellent and hotel is in a nice area alhough a short train ride into central barcelona.
Cons: There wasn't enough staff on and as a result you had to wait for the bar, room service and reception. communal areas of the hotel were not clean.

Pros: Overall a very pleasant stay.
Cons: The room was not ready when i arrived and had to wait for 30mins at the reception, although it was 14:30!

Pros: Room has very nice design. it is spacious and very light. it is a nice and quiet location near the subway station. but also cheap taxis pass by frequently. 10 eur from hotel to placa catalunya.
Cons: There is an airco problem in this hotel. temperature cannot be controled from the room. it doesnt work due to technical failure. you need to call the reception if you want a temperature change in your room. hopeless, since the personell is not allways directly responding to your needs. sometimes you have to call 3 times to the reception.
wireless internet does not work in the room. outside the room it works fine. again the hotel personel is not able to fix this problem. they provide you with a cable instead. unfortunately with cable also no internet in the room due to.. you guess it: technical failure.
room service menu selection looks ok. but when you order a steak, you get just a steak on a plain plate. nothing added to it. not something you expect from a 4 star hotel.

Pros: Great hotel, very interesting. had a swimming pool and terrace, complimentary drinks at weekend by pool. food menu is limited, but the food was excellent. free internet access point. small bar (never attended).
Cons: The level of attentiveness of staff was poor compared to a 2star hotel in tarragona we later stayed in. being greeted by a "back in 5mins" sign, didn't scream professionalism. this could be due to low staffing levels. restaurant was closed at the weekend, room service only with limited menu- burger, salad etc (we had a thunderstorm so we didn't fancy leaving the hotel). this is not to say i wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

Cons: The customer manager who received us at the hotel was rather snobbish! i wonder if it has to do with cultural differences? it certainly did not make a good 1st impression as far as service is concerned.

Pros: Based in a beautiful residential neighborhood. if you are interested in being more than a tourist, i highly recommend it. yes, it is far from the center, but the tourist bus does stop nearly and there are taxis, buses, the metro, and the train available at your disposition.
the room was unexpectedly clean and beautiful. i was highly impressed with the staff and would recommend it to any traveler not afraid of exploring the city and mingling with its residents.
Cons: Do not eat at the restaurant - everything comes in miniature size with a puree to accompany it. for example, steak & potatoes = a small cut of veal which is smaller than the palm of a child's hand + potato puree underneath it, 18 euro; chocolate dessert with berries = mini pyramid shaped chocolate dessert with 2 berry puree lines, 8 euro.

Pros: Hotel located in a nice area of barcelona . rooms are very comfortable .

Pros: The hotel is very clean and looks fantastic. the staff where incredibly friendly and it was a joy to stay there. the rooms are modern and have some really nice features, like the electronic blinds. the location of the hotel is in a nice quite part of barcelona and is only 10 minute walk to the metro station and a further 10 minute on the tube to the centre of the city. highly recommend this hotel for anyone who would like a fresh and modern hotel. also when we got the bill it was cheaper than what the website had quoted! :)
