Located in the heart of barcelona, the Eurostars BCN Design is the ideal staring point to discover the city.
The majestic Paseo de Gracia, main exclusive shopping thoroughfare, houses as well two of the main buildings of the catalan modernism by Antoni Gaudi: “La Pedrera” and “Casa Batlló”, Plaza Catalunya, Las Ramblas and the romantic Gothic Quarter, with its cathedral, are only 5 minutes away from the hotel.
The hotel also has excellent public transport connections with other places of interest (Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, Museo Picasso, Puerto Olímpico, Montjuich or Tibidabo mountain).
How to reach the Eurostars BCN Design?1) By train, from Barcelona-El Prat International airport: Take the RENFE train R10 to "Passeig de Gràcia" train station. The hotel is at walking distance from the station.
2) By bus, from Barcelona-El Prat International airport: Take the Aerobus outside the airport and get off at "Plaça Catalunya". The hotel is about 10 to 15 walking distance from the station. The Aerobus service normally runs every 15-minutes. You can catch it from outside all 3 airport terminals.

Staff very helpful, bed hugely comfortable, breakfast excellent and great choice for coeliac diet (gluten free). hotel is central for all tourist sites in a good area of the city. Designer hotel is very nice but was not always practical, washbasins in particular are so small water splashes everywhere. shower smelt a bit foisty, looked great but not sure if drainage was adequate. Excellent location. fabulous rooms with really comfortable beds.Booked a double and got a twin room. don't bother ordering a pillow form the 'pilow menu' as you probably won't get it. heated towel rail in the room didn't work. but worse of all was the day reception staff - unfriendly, unhelpful and even rude.Colwell

Located in the centre of city and exactly in the heart of shopping centre. we arrived early in the morning and they offered us breakfast without any additional charge. staff was pleasant and willing to help in any way. the room was exactly as pictured on their web site: quite, romantic and spacious.The door of the toilet is from glass and as previous bookers noticed you have to know your partner very well otherwise it could be quite disturbing.Bhargav

Great location. friendly staff. looked very modern which my g/f and i loved. it is definatly for couples tho with the layout and style of the rooms. we had room 601 on the top floor, overlooked the great street down to the city center. also overlooked the jacuzzi so we knew when it was free which was a bonus! very few used the facilities while we was there, which made it very quite, just what we were after.
would go there again, we had a lovely stay!Not really a big negative, but guess only negatvies were the slight delay in getting our room when we arrived (but given a free beer while we waited). shower door didnt shut 100%, so we had to be careful about water spilling out onto the room floor.
lack of english tv channels. all german or spanish(obviously)...

Very nice hotel! the first night we got a very small room but since we arrived in the middle of the night it wasn't any problem. the morning after we changed room and the staff appologized for the inconvinience. Anonymous

No concierge. desk manager was unable to get us into amy of several restaraunts we requested reservations be made at over several days. additionally they promised to book us a guided tour and give us details of it. they failed to book a tour or provide info. air conditioning broke and they didn't move our room or fix it making for a nearly sleepless night. they still haven't indicated if they are creting us for charges. Excellent location.good breakfast.You need to know your partner very well due to lack of privacy with regards to the toilet-frosted glass door as part of the bedroom. no shelves to put anything near the sink, again in the room.rather chaotic in the breakfast room {which doubles up as lounge,bar, restaurant, coffee shop etc} at times-no napkins, no spare plates etc.Anonymous
