Pros: Fantastic location. forget about the hotel lobby as it is small and unimpressive. however everything else about the hotel: location, rooms and staff was great. perfect hotel for a weekend in barcelona. also free wifi with a good connection

Cons: I had a feeling that hotel staff is doing us a huge favor for letting us to stay in this hotel.
we were leaving at 10-11 am and coming back at 5-5:30 pm, at the time we came back the room was not cleaned. it happened for 2 days and only after conversation with reception clerk and some screaming from my side they started to clean the room earlier than 5:00 pm.
this hotel is may be ok for 2-3 days business trip but it's completely unacceptable for 9 nights vacation - its modern furniture looks nice but night stands don't have any shelves, we have 2 small shelves under tv for both of us, basically we had to live of suitcase for 9 nights.

Pros: Excellent central location. well-equipped rooms, most of staff helpful.
Cons: One, elderly reception clerk; he was rude, off-hand, dismissive and not a good amabassador for this otherwise very good hotel.

Pros: The location could not have been better. 5 minutes of walk to the plaçe de la catalunya (the beginning of las ramblas) and almost 35 minutes of walk to the port. the station of bus turistico, the metro station and the bus station are all about 100-150 m of walk. but the location is so great and safe (compared to las ramblas) that i did not mind walking even late at nights. the rooms were very clean and beds are comfortable. we got what we requested while booking. the staff were very helpful. our room was looking at the backyard so it was amazingly quiet. the price they charged us was less than the price i have booked the hotel for. so that was good :) but all in all, i was very very happy about the hotel, its location and pretty much everthing.

Pros: I managed to obtain a reduced price as i boked very late, and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of rooms, and the general appearance of the hotel.

Cons: Our booking did not appear to be recognised and we had to request the complimentary bottle of cava that came with the booking. we were charged for using the safety deposit box, despite having been told that it was a 20euro refundable deposit. we were also put in a suite next to the main hotel, which, whilst nice and spacious, had no security in place

Pros: The hotel on first impression appeared to have little atmosphere, little was explained on arrival we did not know there was an evening resturant until the second day. we tried to request a double bed when we booked but couldent . the hotel was very handy for sightseeing the rooms were clean and of a reasonable size
