Great location by las ramblas, picasso museum and fairly central to sights of barcelona. room/pvt bathroom and hot water (yes!!) were very clean, excellent value for the (90eu) price great coffee shop 2 doors away on the cornerNeppalli

The room was very warm, which lead us not been able to sleep very much at all. there is a option of cool air on the thermastat but it didnt work!!bennett

I fould the rection and attitude of the reption staff very pleasant and helpful. the location was excellent The room was was very small,uncomfortable and almost unfit for accomodation. luckily i only required it to sleep in and wash. it was not worth the money i paid. the bedroom area was almost as small as the bathroom and reminded me of a small terrace house attic. the windows could only be opened by a small amount because they immediately butted up to a wall. i would not stay there again if they offered up the same type of room Anonymous

Excellent location, nice bathroom, friendly staff (including a sly little wink from manuel on the front desk!).Its not really a 4 star hotel by british standards, more of a mediocre 3 star.
the room was small, did not have tea/coffee making facilities, nor will they lend you an iron/ironing board!
one thing none of the websites mention is that because the hotel is so close to a tube station, you can feel the rumble and vibration of every train that passes through, and i was on the third floor!
on top of all that, my room was facing the street, and you could hear every car and scooter/motorbike that went past, and the sirens from police cars and ambulances were so loud they'd wake you from sleep!Anonymous

The location was good, however not on the front of the hotel as this looks over to the very busy road.The manager on the first night. i paid for a double bed and to stay near the back of the hotel - got there to find a twin bed room looking onto the via laietana. the manager was so unhelpful and rude i was close to leaving. when he said that the hotel was fully booked and i replied with 'what shall i do?', he answered by saying that i hadn't paid for the whole 5 days so you can leave to another hotel. couldn't believe how rude someone could be - and he smelt. breakfast was average and the bar never opened. i'd stay somewhere else if you actually cared about the hotel. this is a 3 star average holiday inn - perfect for business travel.Anonymous

Location was excellent. near enough to las ramblas without the constant din of merry-making. the breakfast was pretty decent - fresh, good variety and the self-serve expresso bar was a very pleasant surprise. bravo! and, the bed linens were very good quality - luxe. The hotel was listed as a "4-star' but the bed was less than that - shall we say - cheap. i did not sleep well. Anonymous
