good location, hotel, not so much. 16th, the location is very good. Train station is appr a football field away. Problem is the rooms. The floors are tiled, so everytime a chair or table is moved above or beside you, it's like fingers scratching a chalkboard. On the 14th we had returned from a cruise, so we just wanted some rest in the afternoon. The noise was horrible above and we called the desk and asked if there was construction in the room over us. The guy said maybe, there is ongoing work being done. We asked to be moved if it continued and about 9:00 pm.it stopped. The next night the sound of a chair or table scrapping across the floor at 3:30 am woke us. Checking out the desk person asked about our stay and I told her about the noise and she said, oh sorry, please sign here, as she gave me my final bill. Would not stay or recommend this hotel.

i have stayed and my wife at this hotel for 5 nights this summer and that was.my second time after 2 years.it is clean , great location ,great breakfast and nearby to supermarket ,rooms are not large but good for 2persons(smart room and city room are almost the same)i recommend this hotel for anyone visiting barcelona. .first timenader eletreby

The hotel was easy to access from the airport. Cost about 25 euros. The room was clean. I had booked a double bed, but got a twin bed. The shower was clean. Did not have breakfast as we had early train to catch. Wifi cost about 8 euros per device for 24 hours. The hotel is situated two minutes from Barcelona Sants railway station. Food ordered through room service was good. There was a pool, but we did not check it out. The hotel was a stop over before we started our journey through Spain.

Excellent loaction for a city break. Just outside the main train station, only 20 mins from airport and a main interchange for the underground network.We had an upgraded room which was very nice although the bathroom was in need of some tlc and was a bit small.The restauarant was ok if you didnt want to venture out but nothing special for a 4* hotel, however the roof terrace was lovely. A beautiful place to sit and chill out in the evening overlooking the city. The hotel shoud really make more of this area which was only half used.Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again if we return to Barcelona.

Expo Hotel was great. Clean, nice, friendly, easy to find, good price. The staff was extremly nice. The room was small but clean, and I think that matters more. The location is excellent, it is right outside the main train station. I think it was two blocks. Walking distance to many great sites and restaurants. I tried to go to the rooftop pool twice but it was not open. There is a beautiful bar at the top. We also had an amazing view from our room.

Quite nice hotel, good value for money services, nice swimming-pool on the roof but open too short, surprise safe in the room was paid 1,5 euro per day - at 4stars hotel!!! room and bathrooms are big plus separate wardrobe....wooow, staff was nice and friendly, location is very good near stations Sans and metro, everywhere is close

The hotel is really good for its location - very central, good connections - and especially for its roof terrace where you can enjoy the view of Barcelona.The rooms are ok, not luxury though, and a bit noisy, especially when people came home late. But on average, it was a very good choice!

The hotel was clean and tidy and good transport links. Handy for the city tour bus and train to and from the airport. Not as close to city centre as would have liked but the staff were very helpful indeed.

Pros: I was going to email to tell yo9u of our wonderful experience with your front staff. they were so friendly and helpful and loli was unbelievably kind and understanding when we arrived as we had just been robbed on the motorway as a man posing as a police man, complete with badge. he stole my beautiful diamond ring off my finger which i have had for 25 years and is worth about 50 million euros. loli was terrific throughout our stay and so was csar the young
man on the conceirge desk. thankyou loli and csar. wendy and billy francis from new zealand.

Pros: A good location and a lovely place. staff were really nice. the pool, although small, was adequate for cooling off and the sun lounges were in good places. the terrace was great with tables to eat/drink or just lounges to catch the sun and drink
