Hotel Fira Palace is centrally located in downtown Barcelona, right next to the well known Plaza España, and a short distance away from the famous Ramblas and the sea front. Fira Plaza is in a great central location in the city of Barcelona. It is a great neighborhood located right near many things you need and places you want to see.
The following landmarks are located near the hotel: National Palace, Montjuic Fountains, National Art Museum of Catalunya (MNAC) and Romanesque Museum, Spanish Village and Fran Daurel Museum, "Fundació La Caixa" Museum, Mies van der Rohe Pavilion, Miró Museum, Ethnology Museum, Archaeology Museum, Greek Theatre, Mercat de les Flors, Teatre Lliure, Olympic Ring, Montjuic Castle, Harbour / Columbus Monument, Las Ramblas and Joan Miro Park.
How to reach the Fira Palace?By taxi: Barcelona has 11,500 taxis easy to identify by their yellow and black colour. It takes 15/20 minutes, depending on traffic.
By Aerobus: This special service is clearly signposted at the stops outside the terminal and it takes you to different parts of the city, the Plaza de España stop is the closes to the hotel, 5 minutes walk approximately.
By train: The station is located to the West of the terminal. Trains go to "Sants" Station. From here you can take either the Metro - 2 stops to Plaza de España and then 5 minutes walk-or by taxi.
By car: Take the Castelldefels Motorway (C-31) towards Barcelona up to Plaza de España. Turn right into Avenida Maria Cristina and drive up until you see the National Palace. Turn left into Avenida Rius i Taulet and carry on straight until Lleida Street. The hotel is right on the corner.

In a quiet but never the less very attractive area of barcelona, 5 mins walk from the place d'espanya. there was a problem with the water temperature in the room, however the hotel staff changed upgraded our room very quickly and efficently. the hotel is suited for business travellers and tourists alike, however the bar has a quiet and pleasant atmosphere and is better suited to more mature travellers (we are 39/45).NoAnonymous

After booking through your service, we arrived at the hotel to find that the hotel had double book our and another couple's room. we therefore had no room to stay in. the staf were however very appologetic and found us another hotel and offered us a free meal. i was however very disappointed as the room was a gift from me and my sister for my parents' weding anniversary and felt very embarrassed o arrive at the hotel to find my parents had nowhere to stay.Anonymous

Very large and clean rooms with large comfortable bathrooms.
the hotel is located within easy walking distance of the olympic area of the city.We had advised in advance of our need for use of the hotel parking (underground public parking which is also used by the hotel). at check-in we were confirmed of our need and availability of this parking, however we were not advised of the special hotel rate. we paid 36€ per day, instead of 16€. this was re-paid by the hotel after our complaint, however, it was necessary for us to insist on a re-payment, as at first reception staff advised that it was our own fault for not asking for the free rate.
the hotel restaurant is convenient but has a rather poor menu selection and is not good value for money.
swimming pool is very cold.
