"Happy Traveller"

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. A metro stop is within 10 minutes walking distance and we walked back from the La Rambla without any difficulty. The Sauna and Steam Room were fantastic and the fitness area was basic but functional.This hotel is situated next to a cemetery and our room overlooked it which concerned me, but it was not creepy at all, so don't let this put you off. Our only complaint is that there was no minibar or kettle, unless we upgraded our room.If you want breakfast included get this at check-in as you receive it at a discounted rate and it is worth it.

"Barcelona Weekend"

Nice hotel with good access to port area and metro into the city.The service was good with sea view or city rooms available. Taxi from the airport was reasonable (approx EUR30). Gym area is ok but hotel is lacking a pool. ok in summer as access to beach area close by.

Pros: The hotel staff were very helpful due to the hotel being away from the city centre and any questions asked were all answered. the free gym and sauna was also a benefit
Cons: The only negative which isn't really was the location however there is a metro about 5mins away that is cheap and can take you all over.

Hotel 4 Barcelona is situated in the up-and-coming District22@ area, within walking distance of Port Olimpic and only 3 blocks from the beach and Rambla de Poblenou. This quiet area is safe and provides several public transport connections to the city centre.

This hotel offers something for everyone, as it features a bar and lobby lounge, a restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner and a fitness centre with gym, sauna, steam bath with chromotherapy and a massage room. Hotel 4 can also suit the needs of business travellers, as there are conference and banqueting facilities and a business centre.

Hotel 4 Barcelona was opened in the beginning of 2010 and offers 142 exterior facing rooms. They have a fully equipped bathroom with hairdryer and shower or bathtub. Most of the Double or Twin rooms have 4 pillows and some of the rooms offer views of the city or the sea. The upper floors can be reached by elevator and stairs.

The hotel is a few minutes from the city centre of Barcelona, a short walk from the beach and near Rambla de Poblenou. With a 4-minute walk you can reach Llacuna metro station, offering direct connections to Passeig de Gracia. Metro stations Poblenou, Bogatell and Marina, as well as several tram lines and Port Olimpic are also within walking distance.
