Pros: We had a upgraded from the duplex to a junior suite after seeing the duplex which we were not very impressed with. the junior suite was fantastic, the bathroom was stunning with huge bath and separate shower. the room was very quiet and stylishly decorated.
Cons: The location is not ideal for getting into central very fast however there are the bicling stands very close and it is a 5-10min walk to the metro.

Pros: Good location but be prepared to walk to the metro or catch a bus into the city centre. we up graded to a superior room and were very glad that we did as it was well worth the extra cost (not too much)the staff were very civil and helpful, the pool was fine and the bed was very comfortable!we stayed an extra night.
Cons: Its a quiet location and thats a great thing if you dont fancy the noise from the ramblas!

Pros: Lovely small pool nearly always empty sunny from 10-5 every day so had best of both worlds - near to green open bus tour and walkable to harbour in 40mins
Cons: We booked a junior suite due to the web images and were advised they were of a different hotel so 1st room was shabby and upgrade cost extra £20 a night for which we could have stayed at a better hotel from the website

Pros: In general nice hotel, liked the design and location in barcelona however far from metro station. staff was friendly and polite.
Cons: Noise from other rooms. bathrooms in duplex rooms need to be upgraded. looks old. service staff need to communicate more with guests during the stay. tv poor quality not enough channels. does not meet 4 stars standards.

Pros: Great hotel staff, even though it was a bit out of the way from the train/metro station, it was in relative to the cost of the hotel, which was an excellent value.
Cons: In general, most of the hotel staff were very good, there was one or two that did not seem to spend the effort to answer the inquries i had.

Pros: Located 5 minute walk from sants metro and mainline with links to the airport and to other parts of spain. it is out of the main city but that was perfect for us as it was quiet. the tourist bus is 1 minute walk away and an excellant pizza resaraunt almost next door, which is run by an award winning chef.
the hotel is decorated to a very high standard with individual art work all around the hotel. the hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly and were always able to answeren any questions we had. our bags were taken to and from our roomand we were always greeted at the door.
Cons: In winter the terrece and pool are shut, there is no indoor pool.

Pros: All the staff was most helpful and courteous. nice place plenty of room. convenient to both synagogues.
Cons: The night manager was pretty nasty when we had to ask him to do a favor for us because of our sabbath observance.
