Pros: We had a great time staying at hcc montblanc. staff were very helpful, room was big and spacious and cleaned every day. this hotel is ideal for getting about barcelona either by foot and the metro is only a few minutes away. i recommend this hotel and would stay again if visiting barcelona.

Pros: Staff had very good english and were very heplful
Cons: Rooms on the front of the hotel are on a busy one street with 24 hour per day traffic. underground car park manouvering room is very limited and ac is noisy. the advertised swimming pool was not large enough for size of hotel.

Cons: Pool was smaller than we expected. 1 of our 4 rooms wasn't ready until nearly 4 pm.

"The location was great"

Pros: The location was great. and the staff tried to be helpful and largely was, even if i got the impression that one of the clerks wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed and initially gave us wrong information.
Cons: There was a mix up when we first checked in. when we went to the room they initially gave us a maid was cleaning the room. after waiting a while (since we didn't want to be pushy) she told us the room was still occupied and we had to go back to the front desk and get a new room. it wouldn't have been a huge issue- but our flight was delayed and this further mix up cut back on the time we had to explore the city- and they didn't even offer any compensation (ex. a free drink at the bar).

Pros: Good location, big rooms unlike regular europe hotels.
Cons: Breakfast very expensive, the hairdryer in my room was broken, the beds were not very comfortable , we wnet in feb- but the room was very warm and had to open the windows to sleep- which made it very noisy throughout the night.

though small (i think it's standard for the area) the room was clean and had all we needed. the bed was quite comfortable.
Cons: No big issue, but if you need a hair-dryer i recommend bringing your own.

Cons: Very very noisy... the walls are not very thick so there is a lot of noise transfered inside the hotel.. and with the spanish night life keeping you our untill all hours, the quietest time in the hotel was the early afternoon!

Pros: No problem with my on-line booking, staff very informative (in english), breakfast was excellent and dinner was just ok.
pool, internet services, and location were very good and were just as advertised on your website. tourists attractions were all within walking distance, even the beach (about 8 or 9 blks) was with walking distance. i would stay there again.
Cons: Not bad for a european hotel, the carpet and bedspreads could have been cleaner. the sheets and bathroom were very clean.
