Cons: Couldnt sleep because of noisy generator outside room at night but given alternative room. spa/gym not suitable evenings because too full of public.

Cons: Bar service in reception area was very poor.we had to clear our own table as they seemed to be under staffed.you do not expect to do that in a 5 star hotel!also mislead with the shuttle bus information as this only transfers you into barcelona at certain times, which is also a small mini bus which a couple of times people were left having to catch a taxi due to bus being full and irregular service.also there is no shuttle bus laid on for going back to the hotel so you had to make your own way back!we stayed in the fira suites which to my view are 4 star and not 5 star as indicated.also disapointed that there is not any complimentary tea/coffee in room on arrival.

"The suite is near metro"

Pros: The suite is near metro. there are free shuttles from the airport and to the city centre.
Cons: Yes. the toilet. water can easily flow out from the shower to the hall. the floor design must be changed or do something to ensure that water does not flow out to the hall. this is serious.

Pros: On arrival at the hotel the staff were excellent,check-in was quick and they were only too happy to please. the suites were a good size and exceptionally clean. there was a shuttle bus which took you into the city and it was easy to get back to the suites either by metro or bus. the metro line was only a few minutes walk away and took approximately 20 minutes to get into the city. if you don't mind being a little out of the city (which our group of 5 women had no problem with) would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation. the no.46 bus from the airport is ideal as it only took about 10 minutes and drops you off more or less across the road from the hotel. overall excellent choice.
Cons: The only negative thing, and it really is trivial, but could do with a kettle and some more crockery in the suites.

Cons: Bathroom only place with a mirror and it is all black granite,couldt see what i was doing when trying to get ready as it was to dark.no oven in apartment and no kettle.wouldnt stay here again as it is a bit far out although the metro stops by the hotel and goes direct to las ramblas,if you want to stay out late you would have to get a taxi back,and it cost 20 euros to the airport,so dont know how much from las ramblas.not a great view from hotel neither built up flats,i also requested a balcony or terrace but never got one.also whey to hot to go to barcelona in july,have been before and stayed in may much cooler for walking around.

Pros: The staff went out of their way to be helpful. it was a great hotel, the suite was a great size. it was nice to have the kitchen area to make coffee and some small meals. there is a free shuttle from the airport available, we requested the schedule by email before our arrival. the shuttle also runs into barcelona a number of times each day, you need to get yourself back to the hotel. we used the metro more than the shuttle, it's only a short distance away. we don't do late nights, so didn't mind being out of the downtown area. there is a small shopping area just behind the hotel, with a supermarket, bakery, sandwich shop and a couple of bars.

Pros: Great price. great bathroom.
Cons: Rude and unattentive staff. nespresso machine, but no nespresso coffee......and no kettle, so no coffee for our entire stay! no double bed, just two singles pushed together. two lovely tvs but no english speaking channel on either of them. no oven, just hobs and microwave.

"Excellent reception staff"

Pros: Excellent reception staff. friendly and helpful. the whole building and the room we stayed in was very modern and nicely decorated. free drinks in the sitting area was a nice surprise!
Cons: The guy in the breakfast restaurant was horrible. he always had a long face and when i asked for butter after breakfast time, he pulled a nasty face and said "no". i had to go to reception to ask for help. hotel was quite far from the city and we were not informed of the shuttle service and had to find out some other way later.
