Pros: The location is very good specially if you come in summer as it is very close to the beach and it is approx 10 mins from teh middle of rambla street.
Cons: The negatives are mainly related to the room itself, it is very small and the window is of a very bad quality that enables the street sound as if pedestrians are in your room (specially that there is a bar infront of teh hotel). aside that the facilities like are old fashioned, tv, air conditioned was not working.

Pros: Great location close to the ramblas, anyd within easy reach of a number of attractions, restaurants, bars and the beach and marina. can imagine it being noisy on the lower floors so ask for a room on the top floor (we had room 401) which seemed to be fine to us. room size was good especially for a city centre location and beds were massive so no problems there.
Cons: Breakfast choice could have been better so we walked down the road and used one of the cafes the locals used. there were a few people begging and sleeping rough around the ramblas area but they diodn't hassle us and good street lighting/police presence made you feel safe enough. beware of food/drink prices on the ramblas, (we were charged 20 euros for a beer and a sangria).

Pros: The hotel is in an excellent location at the bottom of les rambles and a short walk of the beach. rooms were very clean, good facilities although we had a glass bathroom door that doesn't stay shut or lock, not a problem for us as a couple but could be an issue. for value for money, one of the best places ive stayed.
