Barcelona a wonderful city to visit so much to see so many different types of restaurants to try .Wonderful food ,and so many out standing places to visit . Ran out of time ! The tourist bus trip is a must do if you want to see as much as you can The Hostal staff were very helpful The food was adequate The size of the room to say the least BIJOU ! JOHN JACKSON.

Walking distance from airport bus at Plaza Catalonia, near good restaurants in Rambla, absolutely perfect for budget visit to Barcelona. Room a bit small, but perfectly clean and well equipped, staff very helful.

3 of us stayed for 4 nights in December 2012. The first flight of stairs are daunting and quite steep. The reception helped us with the bags. We were given a room next to the reception. 3 single beds were packed in to the room, no room to walk in between them or to put the bags down on the floor. The reception staff talked and played games all night and the phone occasionally rang. The beds were covered in plastic which was not comfortable but also if one person moved, everyone woke up as it was noisy. Breakfast was meager cold selection. Asked for extra towels but was denied. The toilet was clean. The cleaning staff took some of my stuff away, not expensive, so be careful.

Sorry I only spent one night in Hostel Las Flores, staff were so helpful, room was much better than i could have hoped for. and location was perfect.

Our room was just next the room for breakfast. So every morning we had a lot of noise. The window overlooked a closet !The person at the reception was not friendly

Very clean hostel run by a nice Indian family. Had a family room at the front of the hostel. Room was 2 rooms knocked through and had plenty of space with 4 single beds. Spotlessly clean. Room has a small balcony overlooking the Rambla but we heard no noise from the street below. Breakfast is simple but ok.We felt unsafe on the Rambla as everyone we spoke to seemed to have had their pocket picked. Looking down on the Rambla we saw most people were also holding their bags etc more than usual.

The best location, just near Metro station. The staff is very courteous. The hotel's reception is localised on the first floor, but receptionist asks suitcases. It's very kind. Rooms are small, very clean, towels changed daily. Modest breakfast, which consists of coffe or tea, orange juice, tosts, croissants, jam, honey, butter, becon, one type of cheese, yoghurt, muesli.

Pros: The position of hostal flores is excellent, open the door and you are on la rambla. staff helpful. rooms clean and well serviced each day. braekfast adequate.would stay there again, and bring our own kettle and tea.
Cons: There was no tea making facilities in room, and we were refused use of kitchen to make a cup of tea.some noise at night, but we expected this due to location, and would not put us off staying there again.

Pros: Hostal flores is ideally located half way down las ramblas. we (family of 4) had room 201 with a small balcony directly overlooking las ramblas. our fear that the hostal location might be too noisy were unfounded. the room was clean and functional. breakfast is basic (self service - choice of cereal, bread, toast, croissant, jams, tea, coffee, juice) but was perfectly adequate for us. staff were friendly and helpful. we recommend hostal flores as a small, clean and functional hostal that is perfect for those seeking a convenient base from which to explore barcelona. if we were to return to barcelona, we would stay there again.

Pros: Excellent location right in the middle of la rambla close to everything and just a five minute stroll from placa catalunya which is an excellent starting point to discover all that barcelona has to offer.the room was clean and tidy and the staff helpful and friendly. great value for money.
Cons: Not really a negative, but having booked 2 twin rooms i expected 2 single beds as i was sharing with a friend, however we were given a room with a double bed.

Pros: The hostel is very clean and modern. the location is excelent and with easy access to everywhere in town.

Plaza de Cataluña is a short walk away, and so are Museo de Cera and Estatua de Colón.
