Basically a large, family apartment converted into a comfortable pension in the centre of Gracia, and within easy access of the Ramblas, Placa Catalunya and the city centre. The pension has large, pleasantly–furnished rooms, some of them with a small balcony overlooking the (considerably noisy) street below. However, the plus side to the noise is that every conceivable type of restaurant, bar and café are crammed within the densely-populated streets. If you’re coming in August, don’t miss the week-long Fiesta Major, with street performances, live music from around the world, and a prize for the best ‘street in fancy dress’.
