El Best Western Hotel 54 Barceloneta is located in Barceloneta town right in front of the well known Port Vell located in one of the nicest and most popular districts of Barcelona, originally fisherman's district, just a few steps away from the beach and 15 minutes from the Gothic quarter, the fashionable Borne district and the Ramblas.
How to reach the Best Western 54 Barceloneta? By bus: Take the Aerobus and get off in Plaça Catalunya (last stop). From here you can take the metro from Urquinaona L4 (the other side of El Corte Ingles) and get off in Barceloneta and walk 10 min.
By train: Take the train until Estació de França and the take Paseo Joan de Borbó and walk 10 min. to the hotel.
By taxi, from El Prat Barcelona Airport: Costs 30 EUR approximately.

Nice hotel with modern enviroment and great location by the port. free wireless in the rooms was great.Maybe not everyroom has the same fault but it gets very bright in the room in the morning because of the bathroom window.. as there isn't a wall to divide it from the bedroom. instead its just a glass.. which looks great to me but perhaps not very practical when the sun comes out. other than that it was great.Revilla

Good location for sightseeing - quiet for a city hotel. plenty of restaurants in close proximity - some of them good! we would stay again.Claims of a view of the bay a bit exaggerated. rooms are clean & modern, and work well for sleeping (they have blackout curtains), but are pretty gloomy during the day.powell

Great location, within walking distance of beach and bus stops for main city centre. twin room was clean and modern decor with aircon.There is a rooftop terrace with seating that has amazing views, unfortunately there is no bar, the bar is located downstairs, i think if it was positioned up on the terrace more people would use it, seems such a waste.Karl Knights
