The world renowned Sagrada Familia can be seen looking out the window and is only at five minutes walking distance from the hotel. The excellent links with public transport, bus and train allows guests to move comfortably and rapidly either to the beach or to the marvellous and refreshing Park Güell.
How to reach the Hotel 987?From the Barcelona-El Prat international airport: Take the L10 RENFE local train and step off at Passeig de Gràcia. You will find the property only a few minutes walking distance.

Good location and fantastic view with a balcony.
Hotel staff were a bit miserable and it took some time to get service at the bar. would strongly recommend tea/coffee making facilities in the room. some of the decor was a bit worn (missing skirting board etc)Anonymous

The room we stayed in (room 413) when very clean and had a nice balcony looking out onto mallorca road. i would definately stay at hotel 987 as the staff were excellent, the rooms were neat and tidy and were excellently cleaned each day. the shower in the room was also excellent - the best shower i've ever had at a hotel. Bathroom was clean. bed was comfortable. free wifi. kind of nice designAlthough the design of the hotel is very modern, the interior is becoming somewhat tired. the room walls were covered in scuff marks, the furniture was scratched and chipped and the furnishing were worn. the double bed was two singles pushed together. the towels were either dirty or simply stained from age. ok hotel, but needs a refreshment and no longer worth is over 100euro rateAnonymous

Very friendly and helpful staff. our room wasn't ready when we arrived so we were provided with free drinks at the bar until the room was ready. rooms were clean with a spacious shower. we had a balcony room as requested. received daily weather forecasts with chocolate.McLean

It had a bed, and was fairly clean and not too far from everything. staff helpful and courteous when asked to book taxis, for directions etc.The room was tiny (misleading photo!)and the toilet might as well have had no door! essentially cubicles in the room itself, not good for couples..nothing left to the imagination shall we say!!! the air con did not work very well so unbearable hot, the no remote for tv, layer of dust under the bed. the staff did not say hello when you came in or good morning when you came down to reception.lastly the 14 euro 50 breakfast consisted of self service, with stale bread and cuts of meat and cereals etc. for a 4 star and 100 euro a night i expected more! Excellent breakfast, impressive decoration, big and comfortable room, very nice service, good location. i was very pleased to see that when i forgot my bracelet at the restaurant's toilet the stuff of the hotel collected it and immediately returned it to me upon my arrival!! thanks!Anonymous

The location was not bad interms of getting around the city. the terrace option was good.We didn't think it was value for money. the hotel room was very small and the room service menu was not great. we were very disappointed with out stay.Anonymous
