Pros: Good location.
Cons: The hotel description advertised a balcony in our room they gave us a room with a tiny window that opened to a shaft that had all the pluming. they ended up changing the room after the second day, but it took an hour of negotiating before they did. they also advertised wifi in every room, but it was only available in the loby.
i would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pros: Perfect location but very basic and now looking a little tatty since my last visit four years ago.
Cons: Asked for room key one day on our return, chap on reception could not find it and said it was not our problem and to go away and look for it. this upset all my family and was disgusting customer service. he then found it after we wrote the number down and he did not even appologise. would not stay there again because of his disgusting attitude. many other similar hotels in same location.

Pros: The location was excellent, close to las ramblas and the barri gothic. the room was clean with balcony and aircondition. almost everyone working there were nice people smiling, and very helpful. i felt i had value for the money.
Cons: Only one of the staff, working in the morning, was not nice. he never looked up and smiled. the breakfast was boring, but on the other side, what can you expect for the price you pay to stay there?? i would be happy to stay there again

Pros: Location, location, location! helpful friendly front desk staff, sparse but satisfying breakfast, free wifi in lobby and cleaning staff gave us extra pillows when they saw we were using the blankets as pillows. room was relatively quiet for barcelona.
Cons: Simple room had seen better days (holes in the wall) and room wasn't balcony room as reserved. they offered to move us the next day. it was a short stay and we didn't bother but have no complaints on either front. would happily stay here again, but may try for a different room next time.
