Have stayed here twice service is exceptional,i even emailed before my arrival to ask for a room to the front of building and they duly obliged........ location is perfect for las ramblas and to Catalunya or Liceu underground.Place Reial is nearby ang great for evening drinks. Hotel is very clean was very impressed with cleanliness on both times i stayed here.Shame they did away with little cakes and free vending machine in mornings but spain is in a recession and little things have to go.........Otherwise a perfect time had by all

Hotel Aneto is a small hotel close to the Rambla that met our expectations well. Don't expect services like pool, valetparking or welnessfacilities. It's just for a good sleep and a good bathroom inbetween visiting the city's sights. Reception around the clock so you can come in at every time you want. Rooms get cleaned every day. Thanks, Barcelona.

The hotelroom was clean, this was very importent for us. The hotel was open for 24 ours, this was very nicethe lockation was perfect!!!!

A small well presented Hotel adequate for a 1 or 2 night stay although rooms are basic they are very clean and well kept. The hotel is in an excellent location just off the las ramblas for easy access to docks for cruises, or for any other part of the city. Would I stay here again? Yes.

I would recommend this hotel for a short stay in barcelona. The price is ok and the rooms are ok too. The staff is nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Yet we can hear everything of what is happening in the adjacent rooms.

Overall we were happy with the room. Enough towels, good cleaning, and a good airco. But if there are any guests who make noise you can hear them clearly.

We arrived to Barcelona wet and tired, and wanted to deposit our luggage at the front desk first since we were hours away from the stated check-in time. To our surprise, we were informed that our room was made ready and we could enter it earlier. That made it really convenient for us as we could wait in the room till the rain got to a slow drizzle. The room was spacious and well furnished with a toilet (somehow we were mistaken with regard to the term 'shared toilet' and didn't expect one in the room). The beds were comfortable as well, and the tv was pretty new too. Housekeeping would come everyday to clean the room and make the beds, a surprise to us as we don't expect the service given the amount paid. The location of the hotel was amazing - a really short walk to Barcelona's most famous market, La Rambla. We actually went there almost every night to have juice/fruit/snacks due to the proximity and convenience!There were some drawbacks however .. Firstly the lift was rather small, making it difficult for a group of 4 lugging luggage to move up and down with all our stuff, we had to make an additional trip to allow for that. Also, the wifi was pretty bad - cutting off and coming back on again. The reception was best at the ground floor, but given that we were situated on the fifth floor... Something to note - the hotel has a policy of keeping your room key when you go out! Interesting.. Never encountered this elsewhere!

Very close to La Rambla. Room a bit small & the bathroom was down the hall, but I guess that's what you get for that sort of price 5 minutes walk from La RAmbla.

We slept very poorly because of the noise at night. This has an effect on the whole stay and reviewing the hotel. Rust is a shame because it is close to centre and t the ramblas.the service at the desk was good. it was a pity rust there were nog rep single bed so you can choose how you want to sleep, close to eachother or more seperated.

This hotel is brilliantly situated just off La Ramblas and within 10 minutes of the Placa Catalunya and Port Vell. The rooms are basic but very clean with comfortable beds. We had a separate private bathroom which was also fine. Staff were friendly and helpful. there is a lovely cafe a couple of minutes away for breakfast. Very good value accommodation.

Pros: The locaiton of the hotel aneto is one of the biggest positives for me. i am not a person who sits long periods of time in a hotel room so am not so concerned aobut the amenities of the rooms - but location is key because it can provide additional savings you do not have to use on public transport or taxi. upon entering the hotel i was not very impressed - however when i got up to the floor my room was on - the halls were bright, immaculately clean and very inviting.
Cons: I could probably find some negatives - but they were minor - and for the price and location i felt it met my expectations.
