The hotel is situated in the renowned Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. This excellent location in the city centre makes many interested sites being within walking distance. The hotel is very near the theatre Liceu and Las Ramblas and a short stroll from the MACBA (Museum of Contemporary Art), the CCCB (Centre of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona) and the Picasso Museum.
The hotel is well-connected with Barcelona's metro transport network, allowing you to get around the city and see architectural jewels such as Casa Batlló house, the Pedrera house or the Sagrada Familia temple.
How to reach the Hotel Atlas?By metro: You can take metro line 3 (green) to 'Catalunya' or 'Liceu'. Or you can take metro line 1 (red) to 'Catalunya'. 'Catalunya' metro station is only 4 minutes walking distance from the hotel and 'Liceu' metro station is at the corner of the hotel.

Hotel atlas was very clean and in a great location. couldnt have asked for a better place to be. i was also impressed that we couldnt hear too much of the outside noise (we were on the 3rd floor). 
Hotel staff were only basically friendly. on checkin also i found that they had already charged my credit card the full amountm and this had been done about 3 hours before i had even got there. i wanted to pay actually so this was not very good. they hadnt even waited to see when i turned up. that to me is abit rude, you dont someone´s credit card until you have permission. night shift was extremely helpful and offered wonderful suggestions for dinner (les quinze nits in barri gotic)Was charged 8 euros three times for a disgusting breakfast (which consists of chopped up hot dogs, stale cereal, coffee from a machine, processed cheese and ham, yogurt) without being informed - and when i only "ate" (drank a cup of coffee) there once. was not happy about not being told beforehand. Basically a very safe and clean hotel where everything worked (air con was brill!). maids in every day and superb, fluent english speaking reception staff who were really helpful. located very close, 2 min, from liceu tube stop which was great for exploring.Being so close to ramblas can be noisy at nightGreatorex

Although room was quite smallish for a double, it was high standard and had everything i needed. very central and, as a woman traveeling alone, i felt very safe. i had asked for a queit room and staff were happy to meet request. overall, it was a very positive experience. (i stayed for 2 days/ nights). i would stay again and recommend to all groups below (radio button only allows one selection!!) ... except maybe not honeymoon. No mini bar in room as quoted .... but i wasn't that bothered about it. Hillstrom

A clean hotel, located one block from la rambla, worth its price. the perfect hotel for a couple or friends going on a weekend trip to barcelona.If to say something, boring breakfast area, but we ate breakfast on a café on la ramlba instead, so really nothing to complain about.Desirée Rydell

The hotel was clean and the morning breakfast was more then then expected. guests should know that any hotel alsong las ramblas blvd. will be a noisy so they should request a room toward the rear. but knowing that ahead of time the hotel is a good hotel for the value and i would stay there there again. also if anyone is going on a cruise, as we were, it is a short taxi ride to the port and depending where your ship is docked it might be walkable. Location was great! the hotel is very nice, bed was comfortable, bathroom great (always a hot shower), staff was helpful. the breakfast seemed to be a decent selection but i did not eat at the hotel. beware a double bed room will be small, i was in a 2 twin room which was a good size to move around in with luggage.The location in the ramblas is great but it is noisy if you're trying to sleep, but it's usually between 11pm-12am and then it gets quiet. i was out of the room during the day.
