I have stayed at your place for the 1st time in Finland. The location was great. The room was big enough and really clean. I would like to go back there once again. Also the price for the hotel was awesome. Look forward to staying there again in the future.

We stayed for five nights at the end of April 2012. The hotel is five minutes easy walk from Placa de Catalunya which is where the airport bus stops. We had room 901 on the top floor and must have had the best room in terms of views as we had three windows overlooking two of the major roads and a lovely fountain in the middle of a roundabout. Rooms were clean with minibar and safe - the pillows however were too large and floppy so didn't provide much neck support.The heating/airconditioning was a bit difficult to work out - never seemed to have any effect but the weather was lovely so we didn't have it turned on most of the time. Breakfast was very nice, the best scrambled eggs and spanish omellette I have ever tasted!Staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel has a traditional feel to it - reminds me of the old railway hotels in UK but if it was good enough for the Beatles, Liza Minnelli and Mohamed Ali it's good enough for me.

Nicely situated in the center of Barcelona, a little old fashioned and old grandeur. Carpets on the stairs were poor, pleasant personnel behind the counter, unfriendly belboy, wifi only in the lobby.Price / quality ratio still valued at 4 *

Pros: Our room wasn't ready when we called back for the second time so the upgraded us to a superior suite.
Cons: A bit disappointed to be told that the bar was closed late in the evening, but a few minutes later a waiter appeared to serve us, so all was well in the end.
the breakfast selection was below 4* standard, but acceptable.

Pros: Very nice hotel, great location, in the center walking distance to the monuments, and yet not to close to the rambla, so it is very quiet.
Cons: There was no window from the room to the street, but to a patio. besides that every thing was great. do not take the breakfast, i didn't because it was very expensive (20e per person per night) do yourself a favour go to boukeira market to quims restaurant instead.

Pros: We chose a junior suite, felt the price was very fair. desk staff was very helpful and most especially the doorman. suite was at the front of the hotel but street noise was not disturbing to us...all part of a bit city.
easy walking to busses, la ramblas, restaurants and we are retirees. great tapas a few doors down the street and it's also a good breakfast spot.

Pros: Excellent location for all the sites. staff were very helpful at desk.
