How to reach the Hotel Azul?By taxi: the regular taxis from the airport take about 15-25 minutes. The approximate cost is EUR 25.
By bus: the "Aerobus" leaves the airport terminals every 12 minutes. It takes 20-30 minutes. The cost is about EUR 3.50 per person. It is fast and comfortable, with space for your luggage. You must get off in Plaça España.
From Gerona airport:
(105 km North), the best option is the direct bus to Barcelona's city center. Once there take the metro up to the “Plaça España” station.
By train: you must stop in Sants Estació and take the metro (L3) up to Paral•lel.

I booked a triple room which proved to be extremely spacious and consisted of a large open plan living area which included a double bed, kitchen area with table and chairs and all kitchen utensils/equipment (except a kettle though!)
it also had a separate bedroom with two single beds and a large sliderobe; and a spacious and modern bathroom.
the location of the hotel is good too - right beside plaza espanya and close to metro and bus stops.
the hotel staff are friendly and helpful although i would advise any irish/uk/english speaking visitors that a basic knowledge of spanish would be very useful when visitng the hotel as you may need to use it on some occasions.NoAnonymous
